Our lessons are rooted deeply in the belief that solid fundamentals and exceptional horsemanship skills are the foundation to success in any discipline. DHEC's lesson program is world class. Our philosophy is to provide quality instruction by an experienced trainer with a focus on safety, horsemanship and fun. We offer lessons 6 days a week for both boarders and non-boarders alike. The first lesson will include an evaluation of the rider's level of experience and skill. After this lesson, we will place you into a private lesson or group lesson where you will ride with other students at a similar skill level.

We offer dressage and show jumping lessons plus have a 5-acre cross-country schooling field for eventing. We go to both h/j and eventing shows on a regular basis. Some of the local shows we attend are MSC, POP, Grand Oaks, Majestic Oaks, 3 Lakes, Sweet Dixie South, Barnstaple and Rocking Horse . We also attend rated dressage shows and eventing horse trials throughout Florida and the Southeast.

Specializing in those difficult OTTB's or the well-bred WB's, (we don't breed discriminate here, so bring it on!) From fresh off-the-track to bringing back from rehab or years spent in the pasture, our quality training at DHEC will show you the horse you were meant to ride! All horses and their owners become family at Dream Horse Equestrian Center, and we look forward to meeting you and your 4-legged partner, and strive to help you reach your goals!

For the beginner, DHEC teaches how to tack up and basic horse care and grooming. We believe that taking care of your horse is an important part of the lesson program. Caring for your horse before and after each lesson makes each rider feel more comfortable around horses, teaches responsibility and allows the rider to feel closer to their mount. We start at the very beginning teaching balance as a number one priority.

For the more advanced riders, we offer an extensive lesson program focusing on safety and horsemanship so you can move up to that next level. The program features many school horses, group instruction, and frequent participation in local shows. DHEC provides additional services for the equestrian community, including offering horses both for sale and for lease.

Because the safety of our riders is extremely important, ALL riders must wear a helmet. We provide helmets for riders who do not have their own. Please wear long pants or breeches (jeans are ok). Paddock boots are ideal or a hard-soled boot with a small heel is acceptable (no tennis shoes).

Childrens Weekend Riding club, every Saturday (except holidays) from 10am -1pm. This includes a horse riding lesson, horse care and stable management. All staff are accredited instructors. British Horse Society approved facility, where safety is paramount.

Cara specializes in teaching remotely for dressage enthusiasts near and far. She creates a program curated to each horse and rider’s specific needs including ground work, proper basics and biomechanics and the fundamentals of classical dressage. Lessons are fun, education packed and rewarding. She hosts virtual dressage shows and ride-a-tests for all to join. Cara also has a private group for her students with extra training tips, equestrian yoga and a sense of barn family community.

Cara is a USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist, Multiple Regional and National Champion and USDF L Program graduate. Cara is a certified professional life coach through UCF. She is also certified in yoga, breath work, mindfulness and meditation so that she can better help students with their nerves, confidence and biomechanics.

Simplicity Stables is a first class equestrian facility that has something for just about anybody interested in learning or continuing their hunter/jumper riding or western riding, whether just for pleasure or competition. We are not solely an AQHA barn. The staff has competed, trained and shown many years in the open USEF circuit hunters and jumpers. We offer boarding, training, sales and riding lessons for all ages. Our prices are competitive with all the area's other facilities, but we are confident our programs will give you or your child not only fun with riding horses but the education to do so correctly.
Our complete horse show schedule follows through all year with both the local level shows including GOHJA and Horseshows in the Park to the A circuit including HITS. We also attend the AQHA circuit shows with our horses in the Hunter, Lounge line, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Showmanship and Horsemanship divisions. • Our focus is on horse management, riding skills, and safety around horses. The campers will begin their day with feeding, brushing, saddling and riding group lessons : English huntseat style training with individual attention. They will then have the an opportunity to bathe and care for their camp horse (our horse or yours!). After a lunch in the shade and some fun activities, campers will learn a variety of horse management skills including first aid, health care, hoof care, feeding, illness management and prevention. Then the horses will be prepared for another riding lesson. In the Horsemanship I, II and Advanced camps, the day will be finished up with demonstrations, educational games, equine themed coture crafts and riding skills practice. Field trips to beach and local feed dealers or vet offices a possibility SUMMER CAMP is a 5 day camp or 3 days from JUNE 13th - JULY 28th 9AM to 3pm for $220 part time/wk or $295 full Time/wk also we welcome students with their own horses if riders want to bring their own horse it is an additional $15 for a day stall or $25 overnight. All campers will ride primarily English and possibly Western and will learn different skills of both styles proper Equitation and some even learn how to jump (low level of course for beginners ) , basic dressage, for advanced kids -how to plan and set up courses for a purpose and how to judge shows and even train ponies and horses using natural horsemanship skills and show ring fundamentals to be a sucessful rider. we have a year round HUNTER JUMPER RIDING CLUB , SHOW TEAM as well as lesson programs, pony parties and trailrides for kids and adults. FORMING SHOW TEAMS FOR THIS SHOW SEASON. We have 2 show teams to choose from: Windsong Farms Elite Show Team and Windsong Farms Show Team. The Elite Team goes to the rated and non local shows, and the Show Team goes to the Schooling, Open, and Local shows. Anyone of all ages can join the Show Team.
