Cottonwood Riding Club offers horseback riding lessons to all levels of riders. With over 27 years of experience we have become the leader in the equestrian world. The relationship and safety between horse and rider is our specialty. We offer group, semi-private, and private lessons.  You can saddle up and ride one of our lesson horses or bring your own. We stress balanced riding which is beneficial in both western and english.

I am very versatile and can work with about any one. I specialize in beginners and three day eventing. I'm great with kids and love to teach them about the horse and the equipment. Also work with problem horses.

Millbrook Equestrian offers riding lessons for the beginner rider all the way through to competitive show teams. Our lesson program welcomes children and adults of all ages and abilities. We now are offering western roping, gymkhana and barrel racing lessons as well.

A limited number of safe school horses are also available for those who do not yet have a horse of their own.
The barn attends all levels of horse shows, from schooling shows to the "A" shows.
Lessons are $45 for 30-45 minutes

Red Fern Farm's trainer Kim Klein has 10 years of professional experience riding and teaching, and has trained with top riders including Bernie Traurig, Archie Cox, Joan McLaren, Mark Mead, John McConnell, and Andrea Throckmorton both in the U.S. and Europe. She has a broad background working with young horses, problem horses, and show horses, and specializes in training horses and riders to be relaxed, confident, and safe no matter what their job is.

Lessons are offered on-site on a variety of horses ranging from very safe horses that are easy for beginners to performance horses suitable for advanced riders in both English and Western disciplines. Kim is also available to travel to your facility in Northern Colorado for lessons on your own horse(s). Full or part-time training is also available for your own horse for either trailer-in or boarded horses. Regular rates are $50/1hour private lesson or $45/1hour group lesson.

Kim also offers a children's program suitable for kids of all ages; each lesson incorporates different games and challenges to promote learning and riding skills in a fun and exciting environment! All lessons include instruction on horse care (grooming, saddling, basic care) and riding time. Kim specializes in hunters and jumpers, but will teach basic riding in any discipline and provides equipment for both English and Western riders.
