EDUCATION:
German Riding School: The official 3-year program ending with two-week clinic tests, requiring a passing score for certification from the German Government and German Riding Association FN. "Bereiter FN."

EXPERIENCE:

Center of the Westfalien Breeders: Training from young horses (3yr. and older) Auctions, 100 day test for the approved 3 yr. old Stallions & Sale horses.

Gestuet Katharinenhof: Brood mares, Approved Stallions & Horses in all ages up to Grand Prix level, Showing up to 1.40 m.

Paul Schockemoehle: Worked for one year at the main training facility in Muehlen with, Franke Sloothaak, Evelyn Blaton, Otto Becker, Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, Dirk Hafemeister & Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.

Dr. Med. Vet. Hans Stil/ Swiss: Driver and Assistant Swiss, Italy, France, Germany.

Reitanlage Feldwiesen: Private show barn. Riding with Bogdan Sasjarworsky I rode in smaller shows with young horses and sale horses up to 1. 40m.

Susanne Rundshagen: Boarding barn/ Training, lessons, showing brood mares.

Gestuet Finkhorster Berg: Top Rider Joerg Kreutzmann Show and Sales Barn Horses from 3 yr. up to Grand Prix level.

I promote understanding between horse and rider. Lessons plans include beginning through advanced English and Western riding. I also teach trail riding and Polo. I offer beginning jumping and gymkhana. There is an emphasis on horse communication and my students can learn complete horse care. I work with Girl Scouts and can do riding lesson birthday parties. I have a unique instructional style. I usually ride in the lesson with my students so that I can show them exactly what I am teaching and I explain why it is done that way. Lisa has been riding for 12 years, and competing in Three Day Eventing for 8. For the past 5 years, she has been working as the assistant trainer for Four Star Farm, teaching lessons to people of all ages. Riding Academy
The program which sets El Camino Ranch above and beyond other ranches is our finely tuned RIDING ACADEMY. We began giving lessons occasionally back in 1989. Since that time we have added a team of instructors, and a team of lesson horses, a curriculum of instruction, a schedule book full of lessons, birthday parties, Girl Scout activities, and other educational projects, along with many dedicated parents and individuals who make the weekly trek to El Camino. These are the back bone of this progressive program. We teach students, from age 5 years and up to tack up a horse, to mount a horse, to balance on the back of the horse, and to walk, trot, and canter/lope. As the student advances they may learn to ride a Saddle Seat horse, or to drive a pony in a cart. A few more advanced students learn to jump a horse over cross rails, and perhaps up to three feet. Anything we can do SAFELY, we will do. Our tiniest students, ages 3 and up, learn to groom a horse with our three Miniature Horses. Our lesson horses have all been professionally trained.  Several have been successful Show Horses, and most all are 8 years old or older, and have calm, quiet dispositions, so that they are safe for children or new adult riders.  They are Arabians, Half Arabians, and a few are other breeds.  They will all challenge you to excel to any level you wish to achieve.  These very special mares and geldings are the jewels of the ranch, and are loved by every student who has ever ridden in the Riding Academy Program, or observed these dedicated horses.
