Semi-retired from the horse business, I am available in a limited capacity for lessons for youth, young adults, and amateur adult riders. Please note, I won't start anyone younger than 7 years, and youth between the ages of 7 and 10 will be tested in an initial lesson/consultation to determine capability. Also note, riders must have their own horse that they feel comfortable upon.

I have a degree in horse ranch management and a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in Horse Science. I specifically studied horse training and am a former horse trainer who showed at the Intercollegiate level as well as Western Pleasure for AQHA. I'm no longer showing in the arena and if you're interested in showing, I would recommend another trainer who is still active within the industry.

These days, I'm more focused on providing basic horsemanship under saddle, and riders can be either of Western or English disciplines. In fact, incorporating English riding skills into an all-around horsemanship program is great for horse and rider so if you don't have a discipline that's ok too.

If you have a horse that needs tune ups, I am also available for this service. Not all horses are suited for show and not all riders seek competition, but every horse should be well mannered and every rider should feel comfortable and confident.... See More

Mallory Schneider has an extensive background in dressage, jumping and eventing. As a teenager she competed heavily in jumping and eventing, and in 2007 she switched her focus towards riding dressage professionally. Mallory has been the assistant trainer to the legendary Gail Hoff-Carmona of Los Alamos Dressage Center for the past four years, in which she continues her education daily.



Mallory has her USDF bronze medal and in 2009 showed the five year old Lusitano gelding, Zambo and won the United States Dressage Federation All Breed Horse of the Year Award for Pure Andalusian and Lusitano Horses at Training Level (67.306%) and placed 2nd at First Level (64.369%). Mallory continues to compete in dressage competitions all over Southern California. In 2011 she showed the Arabian/ Fresian mare Bella, for the first time at Second Level and scored in the 70's. In 2012, Mallory will be showing several horses for her clients through Third and Fourth level. We specialize in Western Pleasure training and Natural Horsemanship for serious minded adults, amateur and youth. Our program begins with giving you the tools that bring you respect and trust with your equine partner. Lotte has a lifetime of equestrian experience and has been training professionally for over 10 years, with the main discipline in 3-Day Eventing. Lotte came to California from Denmark in the fall of 1988. In 2001, she started her own business "Alotte Horses Riding School and Training Stable". Lotte is a member of USEA, USEF and CDS. She was won multiple championships at the Event Derby and at VCSC, where she won both Senior Horse and Super Horse titles.

Lotte likes to show her students other ways to enjoy horses as well. In addition to working in the arena, attending clinics and shows, she broadens their horizons by taking them on trail rides, participating in western riding, attending dressage and hunter/jumper shows and the occasional fox hunt meet. She also hosts one or two clinics a year, inviting an outside professional trainer to come for the day.

Lotte adores working with children and adults and also works well with anyone who has a fear of horses. Safety is always the first priority, both for people and the horses.
