Our facility includes 12x12 stalls built in T&G boards with Tarter stall fronts, a wash bay, laundry room, and tack room. Horses are fed Tribute grain twice a day and quality hay throughout. The stalls are mucked multiple times a day. Saddle Creek Stables also includes an outdoor riding arena and over 100-acreas of beautiful riding trails. We are only 17.0 miles & approximately 18 minutes from Watt Road at I-75/I-40 in West Knoxville. And, we are close to the same distance from the South-West end of Oak Ridge. Welcome to our facility where "Every Horse Is Loved!" Brandy McDonnell is our C.E.O. and has been training and caring for her Client's horses for over 25 years.

We offer a 150 x 300 Derby field with schooling jumps, plus a 70' x 200' Covered and Lighted Arena. We have a Lighted Wash Area with hot and cold water and Matted 12' x 12' Stalls with ample ventilation, Lighted Barn, Daily Turn-outs, Full Indoor Bathroom, limited use of fridge in office area to help yourself to cold water after your ride! A positive enticement for new Boarders is that we are a low to no drama facility with a group of GREAT boarders that all get along. We consider and treat our Boarder Clients as part of our family. At Blue Point Stables, LLC we instruct riding lessons 6 days a week, all year long, when we are not otherwise engaged at a Horse Show for our clients.

Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Our youngest students are as young as 6 years old. We have also had many Seniors that began learning to ride with us, as well as all ages in between. We instruct beginner to advanced riders. Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.

Plenty of turn out, trails, mares and gelding will be separated, dogs welcome if they are dog friendly! Creek running right through the pastures for you and your four-legged family to cool off in the summer heat. 120 foot round pen, three pastures we rotate between, no barbed wire!, room for your trailer if needed, tack room, tie up area with mats, horses have access to a six stall barn and overhang for shelter.

Partial board will include feeding 2x daily, blankets, fly spray, fly masks, sheets etc will be done as you request/needed. $350-$400 depending on feed needs.

Horses will be up during the day in the summer and up at night during the winter. If you only want your horse up during extreme heat/cold/storms that is fine too! Its totally up to you! Ive been at multiple boarding barns and dealt with some crazy owners as well as boarders! We are a big family and I would love to add people to our barn that want to hang out for cookouts and go camping and trailering out to trail ride. We also love to go to natural horsemanship clinics all over the place! We have "play dates" at friends places all the time! This is our home so someone is home for the safety and security of your animal.
They have 24/7 access to loose minerals and Himalayan salt blocks, we mix our own feed so everyone gets what they need, No cheap feed to cut corners. Horses are separated/stalled during feed time so there is no stress during feed time or others stealing their food!
Pastures are not over grazed, Currently room for 2 horses. One pasture available for private use if needed. During the winter high quality hay rolls are provided and covered with a slow feed bag so they arent over eating. Typically in the summer they are restricted to the creek/barn pasture at night so there is restriction to grass as most of our guys are fatties!
