S.P.S. Farm is a private full care facility.No pasture boarding. It boasts a beautiful Morton barn with 9 spacious stalls. Each stall has a private window over looking the property. At SPS Farm every horse is monitored throughout the day and the owner lives onsite. Due to the love and constant attention each horse receives at SPS Farm we often joke that SPS stands for Spoiled and Pampered by Slaves! Here at SPS Farm we are completely dedicated to each individual horses’ care and well-being.
All horses are turned out daily,
except in inclement weather. Stalls are cleaned daily. Horses are fed twice a day in accordance to each horses’ individual needs. We feed Triple Crown Feed, which we believe to be top of the line, however our boarders are welcome to customize their horses feed as necessary. Copious amounts of fescue hay is given daily. However we will feeda different hay (provided by owner). We bed our stalls with a beautiful quality pine sawdust which we find provides a warm bed in the winter and allows us to best keep each stall clean and sanitary. We are a small, quiet, friendly, family owned farm in the country. We are in Iva, SC. Near the Anderson county/Abbeville county line.
We mainly offer self care pasture board. However, we are very happy to work with you and the needs of your horse to accommodate most situations.
At this time, we can only accept mares and geldings. Also, we only have a very limited amount of openings, as we do not crowd the horses here. We firmly believe that a horse that has room to graze naturally is happier and healthier than a horse crammed into a lot with too many other horses. So, openings here are limited, and don't come up too very often.
Our fees for self care pasture board start at $185 per month.
This includes use of our 100'x180' arena and round pen. And our 10 acres of carefully maintained trails.
If you need other services, we are happy to work out a boarding plan to fit your horse.

We have a NEW barn that was completed in May 2013! The new barn features: 12x12 stalls with windows, drop-down stall fronts fans and INSULATED ceiling for climate control inside the barn, blanket racks, stall mats and horse-friendly feeders. The tackroom locks and has a boarders' bathroom WITH SHOWER. The barn also has a hot and cold wash rack. This barn has an attached apartment where the owner/manager will be living. This barn/apartment combo features a smoke alarm system in the barn that alerts the apartment and visa-versa. Nightly checks will be preformed in the barn and our horses are supervised nearly 24/7.

We specialize in taking individualized care of each horse and meeting the specific needs and wishes of each owner. We offer access to a 230'x115' stone dust riding arena with jumps (similar to those found at Harmon Field and FENCE), twice a day feeding with Seminole grains, plenty of fescue hay (or Timothy upon request and for an additional charge), premium low-dust BAGGED pine shavings, daily turnout and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Our barn enjoys attending horse shows, hunter paces and trail rides along with having a good time on our quiet farm.

Our pastures are never over-crowded and private turnout is available for an additional charge. We have been in business for 5 years and the owner/manager has 20 years of horse experience including caring for the horses of an Olympic silver medalist and also holds a Horse Production minor from Clemson University. We have a hunt seat instructor on-site that can offer lessons and/or horse or pony training and we also offer stall-rest and rehabilitation work for injured horses. Flying M Farms is a private boarding farm. We used to stand two stallions that we bred and we foaled out many show foals. We showed our stock while the kids were young. Kid's are grown and have moved on so I'm putting this nice place to work again. Offering pasture board at $250.00 per horse.
In Winter we have a feeding fee of $30 per month. As all horses are fed by us so we know all have eaten and checked over. In winter all boarders split rounds and grain cost which are extra. The feed bill will be tallied up at the end of the month and we only charge what the horses have eaten. This allows us to keep cost down for all of us. If we get coupons we share that with all. We put out hay as needed while grain is everyday. When the grass comes in enough and we stop feeding grain then the 30 dollar fee goes away. We also offer two separate medical, retirement or stallion lots with their own shelters. Those we will discuss what the care that is needed and come up with a price for you. We are open to all disciplines,jumps,barrels etc.
