Horse Boarding in Asheboro, North Carolina (Randolph County)

FULL / PARTIAL / PASTURE boarding at a beautiful, private farm in Apex off of 540 convenient to New Hill, Cary, downtown Apex and surrounding areas! Facility boasts a lighted arena to accomodate after work & after school riders, secure tack room with individual lockers, bathroom, refrigerator, spacious feed room and wash stall with hot and cold water. Pastures are equipped with automatic watering systems to provide easy access to cool, clean water 24/7 reguardless of weather conditions. Horses are turned out INDIVIDUALLY during the day in the winter (in at night) and out at night during the summer months. Consideration for pastures of 2 will be given to horses coming together on stall board that have always pastured together. We are a small, drama-free facility that ONLY hosts 10 horses at a time ensuring a high quality of care. Trainer's are welcome with proof of insurance. We offer SafeChoice Orginal as our "house grain" but will feed owner provided grain as well. 

FULL STALL BOARD ($525) - Includes 10x10 or 10x12 fully matted stall equipped with fans. Stalls are cleaned daily. Grain is fed 2x daily and the horses are hayed 2x daily in winter months and 1x daily in the spring and summer months. Supplements (owner provided) fed at no extra charge. Blanketing at no extra charge. 

PARTIAL STALL CARE ($450) - Perfect for the student or working individual on a budget! Includes 10x10 or 10x12 fully matted stall equipped with fans. Partial cares means that the barn will grain/hay, turn out and clean the stall in the morning (winter months) however it will be the OWNER'S responsibility to care for, grain/hay and bring in their horse in the afternoon. Summer months will will also require the owner to be responsible for cleaning his/her stall during the PM. 

PASTURE BOARD ($300) - *ONLY 2 spots avaliable* Single horse pasture board offered in one of our 2 pastures containing run-in shelters. The pasture horses are grained 2x daily, hayed 2x daily during the winter months and 1x daily during the summer months. Again, we only have 2 spots open for individual pasture boarding. We are a small boarding stable. We provide pasture board that includes a stall in our barn. Horses have their own pasture (horses are rotated according to Barn Manager's discretion). The owner provides all hay, grain, and shavings. Owners are responsible for all feedings, including bringing horses in during bad weather and all other needs.

Savage Ranch is a boarding, training and showing equine facility conveniently located in Hillsborough, NC, between Durham, Chapel Hill, and Roxboro. At Savage Ranch, we offer high caliber care with our boarded horses given quality grain twice daily, turn out in large, grassy pastures with safe fencing and small herds (3-4 horses per 5-6 acres) with large run-in sheds, and unlimited hay in winter. For the trail riding enthusiast- 100's of acres of trails are available complete with streams, woods, obstacles, and jumps. A large fenced grass ring is available for working horses, along with hitching posts and a secure tack storage area. At this time, we only offer full-service pasture board.
We offer a relaxed, laid back atmosphere for our boarders, specializing in the adult amateur who wants to trail ride, attend clinics or small shows, hunter-paces, camping trips, and have an overall positive and relaxing experience with their horse. We do offer a limited number of training spots geared towards correct bio-mechanics and relaxed behavior both on the trails and in the ring. Lessons are also available focusing on effective position and peaceful partnership with the horse, and we also have different levels/disciplines of horses available for lease. We believe in gaining the most knowledge of the sport as possible and are open to and can recommend some fabulous off-site trainers for onsite help.
