We have great facilities at our small and friendly Farm Stay and Stable near Junction City, OR. We offer boarding services in our mostly gaited horse barn. All breeds and disciplines welcome. We also offer a small lesson program on gaited and non-gaited horses. We have a guest barn for horse travelers for both overnight stays and for staying over for a few days of local riding from mountains to beaches.

At our boarding facility and family stable, we specialize in gaited horses with Paso Finos, but all breeds are welcome. Boarding is partial care. (We do not offer self care or full care, although we have a great stall cleaning crew available if you need stalls cleaned) We have a limited number of boarders so your horse will receive individualized care and attention. Always room in the arena for riding. Stalls are light and airy, matted, 12 x 12 in size, and have nice runs. Bedding included. We feed twice a day and turn out in larger pasture. You are responsible for providing hay, grain, supplements, setting up your feed & water, and cleaning a minimum of four times per week. Large all weather outdoor arena available (you can ride even after it rains), along with smaller indoor arena, hay storage, and tack locker. Contact us for a tour of our facilities. We offer several human guest accommodations for Farms Stays and for travelers with horses. For horse travelers, we have parking available near our guest barn with hook up for living quarters trailers or RV's. We have water, 20 amp electrical, and WiFi and well maintained porta potty on site. We also have an RV Guest House with all the amenities and a guest cottage with a cozy wood stove and giant securely fenced yard. Both accommodations can accommodate up to four people comfortably. A brand new facility just built this summer (2010), we offer Full and Partial care boarding for horse owners who are wanting to better their horsemanship. The facility is geared towards a ranch style of horsemanship, there are regular horsemanship, cow working and ranch roping clinics for all levels of riders as well as private lessons. We do Dressage,English,Western,a little Jumping we have every thing availble to do jump though. We are also the home of B.E.A.T Riding center. B.E.A.T. Riding Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide physically, mentally and emotionally challenged individuals an opportunity for emotional and physical growth through horsemanship.

Phyllis Herinckx and Jackie Hopper founded BEAT in 1997 when they were inspired by the dramatic physical and cognitive improvements made by Bradley, a student with cerebral palsy and learning impairments, through horse back riding. Phyllis and Jackie wanted to start a program that could help others reap the benefits from therapeutic riding.

Today BEAT serves over 30 disabled riders each week, including riders from Portland and all over Washington County. We also provide instruction to groups from the YWCA, Head Start and the school districts of Forest Grove, Beaverton and Hillsboro. Riders at BEAT include individuals with a wide range of disabilities including Downs syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. BEAT is a member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and abides by the association's guidelines for safety and operation.


Our primary funding source is individual contributions. As a federally tax-exempt charitable organization, most of the donations that support BEAT are tax-deductible.

We currently have three instructors. Two of our instructors are certified by NARHA and one is in training. The NARHA certification process tests the applicants' knowledge and skills in the areas of equine management, horsemanship, instruction, teaching methodology and disabilities.The "tools" of the BEAT program are seven highly trained and carefully chosen horses and ponies.

The riders and instructors of BEAT rely on volunteers to make the center a success. Horse experience is needed to lead horses, but not for most of the

The Case Ranch is a full service horse boarding ranch with large, year round pastures and daily turn out for all horses.

This is a private farm. I raised AQHA, APHA & TB horses. I have reduced my herd to just a couple of horses and decided to board out a couple of the empty stalls. The stalls are 12X12 with rubber matting. There is one foaling stall that is 12X24. One of the stalls has a turn out area, but most of the time I lead the horses to one of two fields during the day. Both fields have sheds to protect the horses from sun & rain. At night they are in their stalls. The fencing is wood in the turn out area and plastic white fence in the fields. I prefer boarding to mares, but would consider a gelding. I have foaled out many mares in the past and stand a palomino stud. I do not have an indoor or outdoor arena only the fields and they are not flat. I feed eastern or alfalfa, orchard grass, & grain. During the fly season I spray the horses for flies and put on fly masks. I will not board to a cribber or stall kicker. call and we can discuss boarding price.... See More

Smooth Moves Equine is a retirement and rehabilitation stables specializing in the older and/or injured horse. We also provide regular boarding for all horses for those clients wishing a more quiet and serene environment for their younger horse.

- All year turn out (rain or shine) min 8 hours per day
- Feeding owners grain + supplements twice a day
- Feeding Timothy hay twice a day ( +lunch when there is no more grass)

- 60x150 arena ( currently not functional but will receive new footing within the next 2 months and will then be fully available for use)

It's a relatively small property with 5 acres and although we don’t have any dedicated trails, there is the opportunity to use the bottom field for riding, or riding the perimeter.

This is my home and not a commercial boarding facility, which means your horse gets the same love, attention, and individual care as mine but also means there's no bathroom, so you've gotta be a bit sporty.
