There is a large 80 x 180 indoor arena so weather is not an issue. The arena is worked and watered so it has excellent footing. We also have a large 100 x 200 outdoor arena with sand footing surrounded by gorgeous views. Huge grass pastures for the horses (weather permitting) and individual paddocks as well. Easy loop for trailer turn around. Automatic waterers in all stalls. Matted wash rack to bathe your horse. Viewing area in arena for parents and visitors to watch you and your horse.

This is at a small private barn with only 3 stalls in total. One stall with my horse and another boarder is in the 2nd stall leaving the 3rd stall free.

The facts:
- 12 x14 stall with new mats & nest camera
- Daily group turnout on grass (gelding pasture) FYI: vinyl fencing no electricity
- All year turn out (rain or shine) min 8 hours per day
- Feeding owners grain + supplements twice a day
- Feeding Timothy hay twice a day ( +lunch when there is no more grass)
- We fly mask and fly spray as needed
- We blanket
- Owner on site
- 60x150 arena ( currently not functional but will receive new footing within the next 2 months and will then be fully available for use)
- Bring your own trainer

Full board - $800 per month
(Opportunity for reduced board in exchange for helping with chores)

It's a relatively small property with 5 acres and although we don’t have any dedicated trails, there is the opportunity to use the bottom field for riding, or riding the perimeter.

This is my home and not a commercial boarding facility, which means your horse gets the same love, attention, and individual care as mine but also means there's no bathroom, so you've gotta be a bit sporty.

This is a private farm. I raised AQHA, APHA & TB horses. I have reduced my herd to just a couple of horses and decided to board out a couple of the empty stalls. The stalls are 12X12 with rubber matting. There is one foaling stall that is 12X24. One of the stalls has a turn out area, but most of the time I lead the horses to one of two fields during the day. Both fields have sheds to protect the horses from sun & rain. At night they are in their stalls. The fencing is wood in the turn out area and plastic white fence in the fields. I prefer boarding to mares, but would consider a gelding. I have foaled out many mares in the past and stand a palomino stud. I do not have an indoor or outdoor arena only the fields and they are not flat. I feed eastern or alfalfa, orchard grass, & grain. We do Dressage,English,Western,a little Jumping we have every thing availble to do jump though. We are also the home of B.E.A.T Riding center. B.E.A.T. Riding Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide physically, mentally and emotionally challenged individuals an opportunity for emotional and physical growth through horsemanship.

Phyllis Herinckx and Jackie Hopper founded BEAT in 1997 when they were inspired by the dramatic physical and cognitive improvements made by Bradley, a student with cerebral palsy and learning impairments, through horse back riding. Phyllis and Jackie wanted to start a program that could help others reap the benefits from therapeutic riding.

Today BEAT serves over 30 disabled riders each week, including riders from Portland and all over Washington County. We also provide instruction to groups from the YWCA, Head Start and the school districts of Forest Grove, Beaverton and Hillsboro. Riders at BEAT include individuals with a wide range of disabilities including Downs syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. BEAT is a member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and abides by the association's guidelines for safety and operation.


Our primary funding source is individual contributions. As a federally tax-exempt charitable organization, most of the donations that support BEAT are tax-deductible.

We currently have three instructors. Two of our instructors are certified by NARHA and one is in training. The NARHA certification process tests the applicants' knowledge and skills in the areas of equine management, horsemanship, instruction, teaching methodology and disabilities.The "tools" of the BEAT program are seven highly trained and carefully chosen horses and ponies.

The riders and instructors of BEAT rely on volunteers to make the center a success. Horse experience is needed to lead horses, but not for most of the
