Horse Boarding in Forney, Texas (Kaufman County)

Located on the Lake Lewisville trails between Chin Chapel and 2499, 2 miles north of 407. We have 4 paddocks with shelter, a 6 stall barn with locked feed, and an equipment room. Small covered arena the size of a large round pen. No pasture land but 4 large paddocks with shelter and water. Lots of space for trailer parking as well. we are in a quiet neighborhood with trail access.

We would like to rent the entire 1.5-acre barn property to one person. You would be allowed to sublet as long as it is done responsibly and horses are fed and cared for.

Southern Comfort Farm is a full care boarding facility focused only on classical dressage. Easily accessible from Dallas by Dallas N. Pkwy., from Denton; Frisco, Plano and McKinney by Hwy. 380. Located in Aubrey, TX. on 40 acres of wonderful sandy soil. Our 25 stall barn hosts an attached enclosed arena with mirrors, lighting, sound system, kickboards and Eurofelt footing allowing riding in any weather. An observation lounge overlooks the indoor. Stalls are 12'x12' with auto. water, lights, heat lamps, fans and auto. fly spray system. We use dust-free screened pine shavings w/ stalls cleaned 3 times daily. Small, Private Barn has limited space to board horses in a peaceful setting. Fort Worth and surrounding areas in Southern Tarrant and Johnson County.

Every horse has an assigned stall.

All day turn out for every horse unless under Veterinary order for stall rest.

Individual turn out or Group turn out choreographed by Stable Owner according to personalities. Dry lot and Pasture rotation.

Locked security gate provides limited access to the property. Owner lives on property to assure safety.

Your trailer parking is free, one trailer per boarder.

Full care $450.00/mo.

Feed (12% Protein/5%Fat) and Alfalfa flakes provided twice daily. Free choice Coastal Hay (square bales) is available all day. We follow Dr. Getty's recommendations on forage for optimum health.

We use Fly Predators!

We are 5 minutes from James Booth Cow Horses. There is quick access to I-20, HWY 1187 and I-35W. Easily serving Kennedale, Arlington, Mansfield, Ft. Worth, Burleson, Pantego.

We are too far south to serve Keller, Bedford, Watugua or North Tarrant County due to the freeway systems and traffic.

There are three (3) excellent veterinary providers within minutes of our barn.

Reliable, local Farrier.

Boarders are welcome to use any provider with whom they already contract. We do not restrict these relationships.

Horses without proof of current negative Coggins will not be admitted to the property.

We cannot accommodate Stallions, Pregnant Mares, Yearlings or Untrained horses. We handle the horses daily in group settings, they must be civilized to be here.
