I offer boarding, lessons, and training. I have over 30 years experience w horses and horses are my passion. I live on the premises, and all horses here are monitored and watched closely. I only keep 12-15 horses here, so I can watch them closely. All horses have out time, so they can be horses! I have a 60 ft round pen, arena, wash racks and stocks, big barn, and trails! I keep the horses in small groups to run together so I can watch to make sure which horses get along together. We also have great trails around the barn, and Canyon Lake trails are closeby where we can actually swim the horses!
Training: If you have a horse that needs a good start under saddle, a little more finish, better manners, better headset, de-spooked, etc, please contact me. I use Parelli techniques and do lots of ground work to get them to accept people as leaders! I do round pen work, arena work, ground drive them, and also trail work and strive for a happy, quiet horse that wants to please. I think a horse needs to be de-sensitized to many environments. I also have a lot of experience with endurance riding, and have an excellent completion record and a lot of knowledge to share about how to successfully get through an endurance ride! Salado Creek Riding Club is a full service boarding facility located in the beautiful countryside of Belton Texas, conveniently located an hour North of Austin. We offer full-care pasture boarding on 149 beautiful acres in the Texas Hill Country. We have a large barn with stalls and overhangs for inclement weather and also have a large corral. An arena is nearby. We grow our own horse-quality coastal hay, give high quality feed twice a day, and offer mineral and salt supplements. We also offer care for geriatric horses.
The property is beautiful for riding and has two creeks and two large tanks for the horses to enjoy in hot weather.
We are not your typical boarding facility. This is our family home, and we live on the premises. We have a secured tack room and gate to the property. We are animal lovers and take very good care of all that are under our charge. We accept only a few good-natured geldings.
All vaccinations must be current, and we require proof of a negative Coggins.
Cost is $425 per month, which includes feed and hay.

We are a full care horse boarding facility located just 20 minutes from Killeen, and 40 minutes from Austin.

We have 16 stalls inside the barn that are either 12' X 24' or 12' X 54'. All the stalls are sand, and there is a fly spray system throughout the barn and over each stall.

We have 11 outside stalls that are each 50' X 75' with a 12' X 12' shelter.

Pasture board is 250 a month and all horses in the pastures eat oats and hay twice a day.

Inside and outside stall are 300 a month, you provide feed we provide hay, 330 a month for oats and hay, and 350 a month for pellets and hay.

All horses are fed twice daily. Inside stalls are cleaned twice a day and outside stalls are cleaned once a week.

We have a 150' X 300' all sand speed roping area with lights, a wash rack and vet area with lights, a concrete farrier pad, covered picnic area, horse walker, 2 tack rooms, a 60 foot sand round pen with lights and a 9 acre pasture you can ride in.
