Savannah Farms is a small private facility located in Lucas Texas. We have direct access to the Trinity Trail from the property.

Boarding Rates for pasture care will be $350 per month. Pasture Care service provided by Stable will include once/twice daily feeding of grain (if requested) or Boarder supplied feed, supplements (if provided by Boarder), hay (when necessary) and water.

Boarding Rates for full care/stall will be $550 per month. Full Service/Stall Care provided by Stable will include once/twice daily feeding of grain (if requested) or Boarder supplied feed, supplements (if provided by Boarder), hay (when necessary) clean water, twice daily cleaning of stall(s) and turn out (as requested).

I have experience with several different breeds of horses: friesians, quarter horses, thoroughbreds, Arabians, Tennessee walkers, cross breeds. I give lessons at round about stables. I offer beginner to advanced lessons, in basic riding, being a good leader, etc. I also offer coaching for you and your barrel horse or just in general ie you and your horses relationship, working with your leadership skills, understanding your horse better, bonding exercises, etc. I offer tune ups and exercise programs on all ages and breeds of horses and I travel to you or you can board here at round about stables. I offer some basic training programs which include ground manners, behavioral problems, starting a horse in the saddle or on the ground, etc. I do western and english. I compete in barrels and will start competing in show jumping this summer. I train my own horses and take a few English lessons from another instructor at round about. I also offer feeding/grooming/care for your horses or dogs, whatever, while you are out of town or just need/want help. I will begin to be available when I come home from college on May 7. I also have some experience with wild/untamed horses. I train quietly and use a type of natural horse method, I listen and try to understand the horse best I can and am not quick to anger. I don't use force but am a firm confident leader that horses seem to appreciate. We are Diamond J Ranch, a 20-acre established horse boarding facility offering full care and partial care pasture boarding. We are conveniently located in Northeast McKinney, less than 5 miles from Hwy 75. We are family owned and operated since 2010. The property is private and gated. Owners live onsite.

Pastures are always healthy and managed with low numbers, overseeding program, rotation plan, and periodic mowing/dragging. We refill the water tanks daily and clean regularly. Horses have 24/7 access to high quality round bales in the pastures year-round,

Our facility has an over-sized lighted outdoor arena, outdoor round pen, and lighted indoor arena. These were all recently renovated with new cushion sand. Low number of horses in pastures.
