Silver Lake Ranch offers full care stall ($325) and pasture ($200) boarding available between Mineola and Grand Saline as well as self care stall ($175) and pasture ($100/$150) options. We are located 15 minutes from I-20 on Hwy 80. Our barn has beautiful 10 x 12 stalls with concrete floors and mats, fans and auto-waters. Daily turn-out with premium feeds and hay fed twice daily. Stalls cleaned daily, twice if weather does not permit turnout. Turn-out into 5-7 acre pastures seeded for year-round grass with shelters in small groups (2-3 horses). Facility amenities include 10 miles of trails, open 200 by 130 ft arena, outdoor 200 by 200 ft arena, 40 ft round pen by arena, lighted round pen by barn, wash rack and tack room. We are Diamond J Ranch, a 20-acre established horse boarding facility offering full care and partial care pasture boarding. We are conveniently located in Northeast McKinney, less than 5 miles from Hwy 75. We are family owned and operated since 2010. The property is private and gated. Owners live onsite.

Pastures are always healthy and managed with low numbers, overseeding program, rotation plan, and periodic mowing/dragging. We refill the water tanks daily and clean regularly. Horses have 24/7 access to high quality round bales in the pastures year-round,

Our facility has an over-sized lighted outdoor arena, outdoor round pen, and lighted indoor arena. These were all recently renovated with new cushion sand. Low number of horses in pastures. Our Ranch offers horse boarding and horse care for a few special horses.
Our horses enjoy the natural setting of the ranch and are allowed to
socialize with other horses in a pasture setting which is closer to their
natural state and is better on their emotional make-up. We do not lock our
horses away in stalls, but believe horses should be allowed to choose to
graze out in the open or have the option to rest under shelter.
