Our facility is situated on 50 rolling acres with 4 spacious center aisle barns, 3 riding arenas (2 large outdoor and 1 covered) and 17 pastures of varying sizes. Additional ammenties include, 35 matted stalls with ceiling fans, lights and windows that open to outside, two bathrooms, one with shower, eight wash racks with hot and cold running water, and a jumping field for lessons. Laguna Farm offers a safe and friendly environment for both horse and rider.

Our on-site Hunter Jumper professional trainer, Krissy Altenburg, provides lesson and training programs to suite your specific needs. She works to develop technical equestrian skills and teach riders to develop respect, discipline and responsibility. Krissy attends a mix of local and “A” rated shows.

Russell Ridge was a carefully selected farm. William spent several years working at different facilities that did not meet his standards for quality. Some of the farms had inadequate turn out, turnout that lacked grass or forage, or no turnout at all, rings that were too small or had poor footing, and had barns that were poorly lit or lacked space and functionality; all of which he considered to be extremely basic and important factors for a farm. He began searching for a location that had the potential to have all the amenities he was looking for. In 2004, he found it. Named for the ridge that runs along the side of where the ring now sits, Russell Ridge had it all. An enormous open field that could be split multiple times for huge turnout fields, and room on top of the ridge for a big barn and ring with an excellent view of the pastures. Back then there wasn’t any kind of driveway and the top of the ridge was an extremely uneven pine forest, but William had a vision, and he spent the next seven years bringing it to life. Oak Hill Farm offers many pasture board and retirement board options to suit your needs. We have huge, well maintained pastures with multiple run in sheds per pasture and four board wood fencing. Onsite, we have a lighted riding arena groomed frequently, 17 acres of trails, hot/cold wash racks, a tack barn for storage, and a bathroom. We feed premium feed, soaked if needed, and all the horses get twice daily hands on inspections. Water troughs are checked twice daily, scrubbed as needed, and fresh water is given daily.
