Cast Away Farms features a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Stalls are 12 x 12 and run-in shelters are provided. Full board is $350 which includes coastal hay and nutrena feed twice a day or self-care is $250 per month. Plenty of riding room outside with sand arena and wooded trails all around the 50 acre farm. Gabel Acres provides all inclusive, quality, practical, and individualized care for you and your equine partner. On site proprietor has over 40 years of teaching, training and boarding experience. You will not worry how your horse is doing in your absence! They will be taken care of as if they were owned by the proprietor. Only a few people will oversee the daily care and handling of the horses so consistency of that care will be maintained.

Gabel Acres offers 12’x12’well ventilated, deeply bedded, clean stalls. Each stall has a fan in the summer, two water buckets that get filled daily and dumped if needed. Buckets are disinfected on a weekly basis. Proper feed requirements for each horse will be met. Hay will be plentiful, and regular worming is included. Any provided supplements will be fed properly to your horse only. No hidden fees for extras.

All horses will have safe turn out options. Mares and geldings are kept separated. Gabel Acre is also a breeding farm of warmblood horses so there are horses all ages. They all will be kept and handled in an age appropriate environment.

Gabel Acres has a 115' x 250' outdoor arena that drains very well and has a watering system and lights. We also have a full-sized covered dressage arena with mirrors. The covered arena features high quality footing and mirrors across the short side and a section of mirrors in the center of the long side.

Full time onsite dressage and jumper trainers, other trainers are welcome, and we incorporate clinics with outside trainers on a regular basis as well. Full time dressage/young horse training available with Guardian Dressage.

We are easily accessible: we are 1/4 mile off Hwy 73; less than 3 miles from exit 25 off I-77; and 10 miles from I-85 at Concord.

McCullough Sport Horses is an Eventing farm dedicated to the training and development of top level sport horses. Laura, the owner, has risen through the ranks and had numerous wins and successes on multiple horses up through the CCI** level. Laura is a graduate "A" pony clubber, and her knowledge and expertise in horse management can be seen through the way that she manages the horses in her care.

Each horse has their own 10 x 12 concrete block stall with rubber mats, 2 water buckets scrubbed and rinsed daily, and their own turnout paddock.
