Horseshoe Farms is a native American themed stable located in downtown Angier. Our stable was founded in August of 2012. We offer many recreational activies such as swimming with horses, trails, birthday parties, leases, lessons, etc. We sadly don't have any boarding spots open right now as of March 26th, 2014. Our stable has a several acre pasture with two large ponds (suitable for drinking) that leave only 5 acres. We have 6 stalls, one being a secure hay room. Our small family stable is located in Thomasville nc, has two stall open for new boarders and one opening for pasture board. Our stable consisted of 12x12 box stalls, wash pit, two get ready areas, 9 stall barn, 3 turn out pastures with run in sheds and outdoor riding ring (85x120). pasture board starts at $200 includes hay, water, and blanketing though the seasons. pasture board with grain is $ 250. Stall board starts at $275 includes turn out, shaving, water, blanketing and hay 2-3 times daily. Stall board with grain is $300. Training Starts is 460, we are a Morgan barn but ALL breads are welcome we Train in a lot of style includes western, huntset , low level hunter jumper, saddle seat, and driving. We are a women's no competion barn. We all enjoy each other's company and like to ride alone and with each other. We have 15 rolling acres and full turnout unless it is an ice storm or an injury when we do have stalls. We have trails out from our farm and are always interested in kind, soft eyed horses and women to join us. My job is to take care of your horse as you would like them taken care of within the limits of what we do. I don't believe that horses enjoy being locked in a stall. We are looking for quiet, well behaved horses that we can offer half off board if they are lightly used in our program. Students start bareback and must earn their saddles and then cloth reins on halter, later bitless bridles and only experienced riders use bits. Helmets and boots on all afterschool and Women's Intuitive Riders. On site managers who care for your horse as you would yourself in as natural a setting as possible.
