Tranquility Equestrian Center is a newly renovated 22 stall barn set on 12 acres of prime pasture land. Located within the Lakewood Ranch at the entrance to the popular Sarasota Polo Club, which is truly a unique community setting with over 100 miles of trails. Following the Lakewood Ranch’s motto which is “Live, Work, and Play” Tranquility is proud to offer a state of the art facility catering for the needs of the polo playing community. We are happy to accommodate ponies for individual players or complete teams either on short or long term basis.

Tranquility is a gated facility with 24 hour security surveillance, censored lighting, satellite radio and wifi, offering peace of mind to the most discerning horse owner. Added to which we have 24 hour on site supervision to ensure that ever horse receives maximum care and attention.

All our pastures are level, well drained with post and railed fencing. We offer individual or small group turnout with feed and care routines tailored to suite every owners’/horses’ needs.

TRACK: Extending around the perimeter of the front of the property, our half mile grassed exercise track is groomed and maintained by our staff daily.

JUMPING FIELD: Our comprehensive range of show jumps are set aside in a levelled, grass jumping field, which can also be utilized for schooling purposes. Floodlight extends over the jumping field for evening use.

Our horse experience, like that of many, dates back to the younger years. The manager at Aurora Farms Florida began not only riding, but also caring for horses at a young age. After several years of cleaning stalls and learning the basic aspects of horse care, a mustang pony found its way into our heart. A few years of learning later (and the pony outgrown!) the trainer of a nearby Hunter/Jumper farm brought her on as a working student. While working in this position she encountered all aspects of horse care and management while competing in the Hunter and Equitation divisions on sale horses and off-the-track thoroughbreds. These years form foundation of what we do now and seeking high quality board for and finding it missing has delivered us at the desire to provide excellence in boarding. With over 18 years of equestrian experience we have decided to focus solely on providing excellent boarding to the south Tampa area. Beginner lessons may be in the future, but for now it is about YOUR horse- check back!

At the moment our facility is based at Laurel Oaks Stables South in Wimauma Florida. This five acre property is almost entirely shaded by beautiful trees covered in spanish moss and even has a pond. Offering ten stalls for boarding, we have more amenities than one would expect at that size! This allows us to provide an excellent facility, top-notch care, and personalization for each boarder.

All stalls are oversized stall and we also offer stalls with an attached paddock, or a stall with a private paddock. Our excellent feed and hay program that can be customized for your horse (we utilize a variety of feeds and hays to do so!). We have a ring, sand ring, jumps, the ability walk to state park for trails, and lights for riding in the dark! The facility also has cross-ties, a dedicated wash stall/area, an indoor tack room and spacious feed room. Quality lessons, training, and showing are available with trainer that travels to the farm for other clients.
At the moment we have three boarding options, full, partial, and self-care.

-Full care includes everything, designed to be easy and worry-free for you. All feed and hay are provided, as is all care and turn-out. If you are out of town often or at the barn every day you will have peace knowing your horse is cared for as if you are there every day.

-Partial care includes all hay and labor, but excludes grain. This option allows you to create your own feed system if desired (simply bring it and we will feed it).

-Self-care includes turnout only. We will turn in/out your horse on a daily basis (unless directed otherwise) and drop feed/hay, but you must provide all feed/hay.

Full board starts at $350, partial starts at $250.

We are a small farm on 25 acres, with grass pastures, a lighted dressage arena, sand/clay jump field and wonderful barn. Wooded trails and access to additional 40 acres. We actively show at recognized and unrecognized events. Lauren is available for XC schooling and on farm lessons.

We breed half bred connemaras and often have sport horses for sale. The farm hosts a three show schooling series every year, in addition to hosting two shows for the Lakeland Dressage Association. We are an easy drive from Zephyrhills, Dade City, N. Tampa, Winter Haven, Bartow, N. Lakeland, Polk City, Brandon, Valrico, Seffner, Kissimmee &Temple Terrace. The barn has fifteen 12x12 stalls, each with a large window. The horses have daily turn out in our grassy paddocks. There are 2 inside wash racks, as well as 3 outside wash racks. An air-conditioned and heated lounge provides for socialization and for watching after-lesson videos. Our oversized, LIGHTED riding arena has full jumper and hunter courses and is perfect for riding year round. Even in the rainy season when so many arenas are under water, we can ride shortly after a storm passes! We have excellent footing and drainage so that riding at all times is possible!

Greenridge Farm is a small, full service barn for the hunter jumper sport horse and rider. Each client, human or horse, receives specialized attention from the trainer Pat Sikorra. Pat has over 35 years of expertise in the Hunter/Jumper field. He has had a very successful career winning numerous classes and many championships, and has shown for many years across the country on the Hunter/Jumper Circuit. For the past 28 years he has devoted his time to passing on his knowledge of riding to others. Pat has excellent, positive communication skills with horses and riders and has successfully trained clients at all riding levels. He trains horses from green-broke to the advanced Hunter/Jumper divisions. Pat also lives right on the property.

Pat truly enjoys teaching his students to become better riders. He strives to make each client’s riding experience enjoyable and informative. He is the type of trainer that when he tells you what to do on a horse, he explains why he wants you to do it, and what he expects you to see and feel as a result of what he’s asking. If you want an individualized trainer, this is where you should be. This Florida Hunter/Jumper trainer, Pat Sikorra, has training that includes: starting young Hunter/Jumper horses, Hunters, Jumpers, horse training, group Hunter/Jumper lessons, and Hunt Seat Equitation.
