Private boarding barn has full and pasture board openings. We provide top care for your horse. Facility has 9 stalls, beautiful indoor and outdoor arena, grass fields to ride in. Gorgeous views.

We offer retirement board and will have an opening available in spring 2016.We understand that the older or chronically unsound horse has different needs and that it can be stressful finding the perfect retirement home. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe facility and offering the best quality care possible. Board is $300/ month and includes:

-Free-choice hay and grain as needed (particularly hard keepers may be charged for extra grain)
-Weekly grooming
-Regular deworming (with yearly fecal egg counts performed by our veterinarian to ensure the efficacy of our deworming program)
-Regular professional hoof trims
-Blanket and fly mask/sheet changes
-Small turnout group sizes in well-maintained fields, safe fencing, and multiple checks per day
-We always welcome visits and we will send updated photos as often as desired.

We are a small horse farm with just 7 stalls. Very quiet and relaxed. Our horses are turned out in grass fields, with round bales as needed. We feed high quality hay that was cut on the property. Our horses are fed on an individual basis to ensure they get what they need. Our stalls are 12x12 with high ceilings and we use pine shavings. We have a new sand ring and trails around the property to ride on. We will also be constructing a regulation size dressage ring. The horses are checked each night before bed. Westwood Stables is a 65 acre horse farm located off Rt 1 in the Fredericksburg/Massaponax area.

Facilities Include: Lighted Indoor Riding Arena, Large Outdoor Riding Arena, footed 55ft round pen, and plenty of space to hack out with trails. Tack rooms are air conditioned and heated. Both barns have wash stalls (hot water!). Bathroom located in main barn.

Westwood is a 16 stall facility and offers multiple field board spots as well as private field board. Trainer on site with background of hunters/ western pleasure/working equitation/dressage. Actively competing and showing monthly at schooling and rated shows with students.
