The premiere facility features 100’ x 200’ outdoor arena, indoor with dust free footing and viewing area, individual & group turnout, climate controlled lounge, indoor wash stalls with hot & cold water, groom stalls, large storage spaces, hot walker, round pen, amole trailer parking, washer/dryer, stalls w/individual fly spray system and fans, and on site staff.

We are dedicated to providing a progressive equestrian facility that offers first class amenities in a friendly, supportive environment where equine health & wellness is paramount. We tailor our program around each individual horse, and are happy to work with horses that are difficult or have not found previous boarding situations an ideal fit.

River Ridge Farm is a beautiful private equestrian facility tucked into the rolling hills of Central Virginia and only five miles off the historic James River.

At River Ridge Farm we pride ourselves on providing the absolute first class horse care and management. Our spacious 12x12 wood finished stalls complete with wall to wall matting are designed with your horse in mind.

You'll also find a full indoor wash stall (H/C) complete with a Sprayer broom, several cross tie hook ups (Indoor/Outdoor), full tack room/lounge, and a bathroom INSIDE the barn!

We have a large 200x80 arena as well as open turf fields for hacking!

Our farm has several lush pastures that are equipped with automatic water systems. We turn out in small groups to ensure there is plenty of forage for everyone!

Our private boarding includes:

Feeding twice daily with quality grains, fresh hay daily, stall cleaning, pasture turn out (day or night, depending on season) with other horses, use of all of the facilities (hot/cold wash bay, lounge/tack room, riding ring, etc.), supplements provided by owner and administered by River Ridge Farm, Winter blanketing, free trailer parking, and extra packages available upon request!

The Powhatan Equestrian Center at Quarterfield Stables is located conveniently in central Powhatan Country, VA just off Rte. 60.

Stall board is $350 per month and includes grain twice per day, hay, water, access to mineral blocks, and high quality bagged shavings are used in stalls.

The stalls are large and extremely well ventilated. In addition, the turnout pastures are large and well managed.

There is a tack room as well as a wash area. The arena is large with excellent footing and has outdoor lighting.

A round pen with sand footing is also another excellent feature of the facility.
Training and lessons are available with an qualified instructor. All disciplines are welcome.

Anyone looking for horse boarding in the Williamsburg, New Kent, Richmond area?

We are at exit 211 in New Kent right off interstate 64. Full board each month is $600, there are 5 stalls available then you will be put on a wait list. Stalls cleaned twice daily (or as needed). We provide feed (to be discussed) and hay (to be discussed). If your horse/horses are on supplements we will make sure they get them daily/as needed. Turn in during the day/night (whichever you prefer), if you prefer one of these options. Each horse will have their own stall. We have a lighted riding ring (you can ride day/night). We are a small horse farm with just 7 stalls. Very quiet and relaxed. Our horses are turned out in grass fields, with round bales as needed. We feed high quality hay that was cut on the property. Our horses are fed on an individual basis to ensure they get what they need. Our stalls are 12x12 with high ceilings and we use pine shavings. Well-established Keelona Farm is located in southern Albemarle County, convenient to Charlottesville and 20 minutes from Interstate 64. The facility sits on 75 acres surrounded by Farmington Hunt territory and adjacent to a top level eventing barn. For the last 15 years we have been specializing in detailed senior care for retired hunter jumpers. These horses receive the best in care and attention. Under our watchful eye we manage for your horse, administration of treatments or meds as per veterinarian and/or farrier instructions. The PJ Williams 14-stall custom structure is centrally located on the property and offers many options that a foaling mare or injured horse on its way to recovery will need. It is within the close service range to four or more veterinary hospitals.
The barn itself has an indoor track for walking and jogging with stalls in the center. There is an efficient 4-fan ventilation system in the roof that pulls air up and out in the hot weather. Radiating out from the barn are many options for private turn out that can be large or small, pasture or dry lot, most with run in sheds and fans.
