Owned and operated by lifetime residents of the Hudson Valley, we are mature and knowledgeable horse people with more than 45 years combined experience. Owners live on-site and are hand's-on daily, and perform night check 365 days of the year.

We're located less than 5 miles from I-84 at Route 311 and just 1 mile over the Patterson border. It's a 5 minute drive from Carmel, Kent, Patterson or Brewster and short distance from neighboring Stormville, Holmes, Dover, Beekman, Poughquag, East Fishkill, Fishkill, -- a very easy drive from Westchester & Putnam.

Windy Acres Farm is located on North Quaker Hill Road in the heart of the historic Quaker Hill Estate area. This equestrian center is a family run boarding, training and rehabilitation facility for all types of horses and riders. The family rarely hires outside laborers preferring to be solely in charge of the horses in their care. If your horse has been diagnosed with a musculoskeletal injury that requires layup and monitoring, Dr. Tina offers the above mentioned services to assist in recovery from the time of diagnosis until work under saddle is possible again. Oz Farm is a full service horse farm offering everything from beginner lessons, for both children and adult, to full service care of show horses. Oz Farm is 86 acres of beautiful land with views of the mountains, plenty of trails and both indoor and outdoor riding areas. Oz Farm also has several grass derby fields to ride in. We have several trainers with different horse experience to fit the needs of any rider.

Equine Boarding and Rehabilitation

We offer a variety of boarding options for trail riding, retired horses and horses recovering from injury or illness. We accommodate a maximum of four horses at one time to enable us to provide close personal attention to them. The horses enjoy 8-10 acres of pasture with 3-rail oak fencing, run-in stalls and sheds and automatic, heated waterers. There is plenty of grass in summer and we provide free choice hay in the winter. The horse barn has four stalls as well as a washing area with heating lamps.

Very reasonable boarding fee includes daily grain with medication and supplement feeding, free-feed hay in winter, fecal egg counts, deworming as needed, fly control and hoof trims.

There are extensive trails available for riding directly from the property. A round pen is available for use as well.

Retirement / Turnout / Lay-up Boarding
