RiverHorse Farm is a family-owned horse boarding and training facility in North Salem, NY that has been run by three generations of the Finlay family for over 25 years.

Our prices include NYS sales tax and are currently:
$1840 per month for stall board (including sales tax)
$1100 per month for pasture board (including sales tax)

RiverHorse offers experienced care by trained equine professionals in a traditional setting. The farm includes stabling for 30 horses in spacious rubber-matted stalls and over 20 turnout paddocks on 50 acres. We take pride in having created a friendly and supportive environment where everyone from casual trail riders to passionate dressage, eventing, or hunter/jumper competitors can enjoy their horses and their sports to the fullest. Your insured trainer is welcome to teach here.

Situated on rolling North Salem hills and fields only one hour from New York City, the facilities include a gorgeous state-of-the-art covered ring and two outdoor jumping and dressage arenas. The property also has direct access to the beautiful North Salem Bridle Trail system and a large cross country schooling field. DUCHESS FARM- is a community designed to provide an extraordinary living environment for homeowners and local residents, who also happen to own horses... and for the animals themselves. For resident horse enthusiasts and others, the equestrian center will offer optional amenities for the upkeep, boarding and training of horses. Duchess Farm Equestrian Center will also offer clinics and personal training for the owners.

The center is an an exceptional facility, meetings, and events with complete with Hunt Course, 252' x 100' Natural Cover Super size Indoor Arena, a Lunge Ring, Working Rings, Heated educational room/office, kitchen, showers, Massage and Exercise rooms, Lounge areas, heated tack, wash rooms, heated viewing areas and a Riding School. This is close to the historic "rail trail" featuring 20 miles of scenic tiding trails, restricted to horses and hikers only.

The facility will also have special emphasis on the involvement of Ulster County Youth Equestrian organizations.
