Sommers Lane Equestrian Center is a full-care boarding and training facility located in Cicero, IN. The facility is semi-private with only 8 stalls available to outside boarders. This allows maximum customization for each horse and boarder. Our facility is designed to accommodate riders and horses of all ages, disciplines and riding levels.
We are dedicated to SAFE and SUCCESSFUL riding for all disciplines. On-site owner and trainer teaches biomechanically correct riding, which is the foundation you need to succeed in any/every discipline.
We believe even the highest level of sport horse can be exactly that.. a horse. We offer 12-16 hour daily turn out, non-grain-based diets, low sugar and starch hay, herbal supplements, and barefoot trimming.
We have lesson and training packages available for everyone.. trail rider to serious competitors, horses needing a tune-up, or horses with serious behavioral issues.

Shepard Stable is a horse boarding and lesson facility located on 34 acres between West Lafayette and Brookston, IN. We are located 20 minutes north of Purdue University off State Road 43 North, with easy access from SR 18 and I-65.

Shepard Stable is open to all breeds and disciplines, with two large outdoor arenas and plenty of outdoor riding available. Other amenities include a round pen, jump standards, barrels, and poles, an on site tack and feed shop, locked boarder tack storage, and more. We are a family oriented, no drama, stable that offers expert and loving care for your equines. Riding lessons are offered by mature instructors with years of experience. We are a full service boarding facility that offers a 16 stall barn on 30 acres with an indoor and outdoor arena. Dietary needs are customized for each horse. Every discipline welcome and lessons for several disciplines are offered on site including, hunter/jumper, and dressage. Small barn family in a stress free environment. Full care board is $725/mth. Board includes twice daily feeding (owner to provide any supplements), daily stall cleaning, turnout(weather permitting) with ability to do either group or individual, hay fed 3-5 times per day, laundry room available for use, indoor wash stall with hot/cold water, indoor arena (120x80) with heated and cooled viewing area, outdoor arena (200x500) with outdoor viewing area, playground, kids lounge, heated bathroom, separate boarders tack room etc.
