Wild Child Farm is a family friendly boarding stable and riding school in central Maine. Our horses are stalled at night, turned out all day every day either individually or in pairs/very small groups in dry paddocks or grass pastures. We have a large, bright indoor arena without dust, a large outdoor arena with well drained footing, groomed hacking trails on the property and access to miles of riding trails (no motorized vehicles), a short ride away. Lessons are offered on our horses or yours from complete beginners to more advanced riders in the English disciplines, specializing in Dressage, Jumping, and Eventing. We have three stalls available with nearly 3 acres of pasture. The barn is insulated and equipped with electricity. We provide full boarding which includes feeding of grain/hay, cleaning the stalls, water & letting out to pasture. You provide the grain. Both options provide private grass paddocks with a private 3-sided run-in shed and electric fence all the way around. Board is full care, includes salt & mineral block, beautiful 1st cutting hay & grain twice daily. Specialized care is given to all residence, we are fully insured, care is given by owners that live on site (this includes night checks).
Board includes the use of heated tack room in the barn (keep you and your belongings warm all winter long), 60 ft. round pen, outdoor riding arena (115 X 90) and access to hundreds of local snowmobile trails.We also offer quarantine upon request and on farm leases, birthday parties and much more.
