Dutch Hill Boarding, LLC in Snohomish, WA has stall openings beginning March 1st 2017. We are located forty-five minutes north of Seattle, WA and conveniently located in Snohomish County with easy access to surrounding cities, such as Everett, Mill Creek, Lake Stevens, Monroe etc. Conveniently located just two miles from Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital. Dutch Hill Farm is newly renovated with an all new arena, including new laser leveled base, dustless silica/fiber blend footing from FootingsFirst, LLC and new walls, all new stall walls, some with social bars and some with dutch doors, new lighting in barn aisle and stalls, updated and heated tack room, lounge and bathroom. We are a dressage-focused facility, but not limited to, and the home of DuoStar Dressage, who are available for training programs or lessons as needed (training is not required to board, no outside trainers).

Full Board ($675.00 per month) includes:

-Daily turnout (guaranteed half day/ 7days a week)
-Fed premium timothy hay four times per day (alfalfa also available)
-Fed grain two times per day (beet pulp and special blend pellets included. Enrich and LMF provided at additional cost per month or owner provided supplements in baggies at no additional cost per month)

Full care boarding located just minutes off I-5 Exit 88, in the infamous 50+ stall mega-barn that has housed horses within its walls for decades.

$435/month.

12x12 matted stalls, closed or open top, with mounted grain feeders and an optional hay manger. Daily cleaning done by stable hands.

Twice a day feedings of high quality local grass hay and/or alfalfa, with up to 4lbs of Special Blend pellets included in each feeding.
Additional supplements, hay, or alfalfa provided by the owner are welcome, and will be fed by the stable hands at the owner-preferred meal times.

If needed, we will provide additional hay or alfalfa at an additional low cost.

Full size covered arena with new LED lighting overhead, with a half arena next door.

The large arena has three forms of spectator seating: a bench running the length of the arena on one side, a small theather-style seating room on the other side, and a cozy heated room with a window to the arena for those chilly winter days.

Both arenas have standard dirt footing, were laser-leveled over the summer, are watered thrice weekly as needed, and thoroughly dragged once a week.
The half arena also doubles as a temporary individual turnout space during times of inclement weather, to give everyone a chance to run and roll and play.

Plans to begin working on a small track system/Paddock Paradise for daytime hours with nighttime private small paddock and shelter for those desiring herd living for their horses. Horse in this setting must be barefoot in hinds.

Large matted run-in shelters with large private paddocks, 24/7 in and out access. Owner has camera surveillance of shelters.

Outdoor all-weather sand arena with gravel base, 75x120. Retirement horses are considered to be no longer in consistent work, but owners may avail themselves of our arena when visiting.

Tack storage and in-barn cross-tie area available.

Crushed rock in majority of paddock areas. We do our best to mud-manage here in Western WA.

Plumbed restroom available.

Just over a mile haul to the Centennial Trail. A few small hacking trails on adjacent 5 acres can be accessed. Less than two miles from highway 9. We are north of Snohomish and just on the south edge of Arlington.

Knowledgeable lifetime horse owner lives on site and provides care. Max 4 boarded horses. Owner is experienced with compassionately and discreetly coordinating difficult end of life decisions.

We seek to have as little horse drama as possible.

We are a very quiet low key stable. We are located on the Olympic Discovery Trail. We have a covered arena and box stalls with 70 foot paddocks attached. The first 15 foot of the paddocks are covered. Lights for evening riding. An attached room with heat to view into arena with very large window that opens. We feed 3 times daily. If horses are out to pasture we spread flakes of hay out for them. We feed in hay bays unless otherwise instructed by owners. We administer medications. We have lost many horses here over the 19 years here, and we are happy to be there for the owners that just can't handle the ending of their horses life. We will hold their heads until they cross the rainbow bridge. We are both seniors and have been in the business for 25 years. All of our boarders are seniors as well, its not required it just happened that way. Everyone here have very soft hearts and look out for all the horses here. We provide Sequim grass hay only. Meadowgate's 60 acre facility is unequaled in variety of options of mud free individual turnout pen, paddock, and pasture options, which is something that is increasingly difficult to find these days.

The very tall heritage barn with its great light and air offers extra large stalls, bright wash rack, 5 crosstie tack up stalls, indoor walking area for inclement weather, on-site laundry service.

Trails abound just outside the back gate, there is a bridle trail around the farm as well.

The covered 70 x 200 ft arena surrounded by covered 15 ft aisleway has an adjacent outdoor 70 x 200 arena. Both arenas have sand and rubber footing that is diligently maintained to a very high standard.

Horses have individualized feeding and turnout programs. There is a late evening barn check by personnel that live on site.
