We are a boarding, training, and lesson facility located just 15 minutes south of Charlottesville, VA (very short drive to UVA). We love all types of horses, whether they be young or old, retired or just starting, or somewhere in between. We are a laid back family oriented barn, that prides itself on the drama free atmosphere and horse focused care.

Our horses in training go to horse shows and trailering is available to boarders who desire to go to the same shows or even different ones. We specialize in training, starting and restarting horses (particularly Thoroughbreds) so that they understand the job they have and learn to love what they do. We truly get to know each horse and understand what makes each individual animal unique. All horses are respected and appreciated here and given exceptional care.

The farm is a quiet and peaceful family farm with a 7 stall center aisle barn with tack room, wash rack, and bathroom, a two stall secondary barn, a 200 x 115 ft sand riding ring with hunter/jumper jumps and beautiful trails that take one around the property. Well-established Keelona Farm is located in southern Albemarle County, convenient to Charlottesville and 20 minutes from Interstate 64. The facility sits on 75 acres surrounded by Farmington Hunt territory and adjacent to a top level eventing barn. For the last 15 years we have been specializing in detailed senior care for retired hunter jumpers. These horses receive the best in care and attention. Under our watchful eye we manage for your horse, administration of treatments or meds as per veterinarian and/or farrier instructions. Comprehensive daily grooming, hand walking and/or turn out as needed. Development and implementation of individual treatment/fitness/nutrition plan

The PJ Williams 14-stall custom structure is centrally located on the property and offers many options that a foaling mare or injured horse on its way to recovery will need. It is within the close service range to four or more veterinary hospitals.
The barn itself has an indoor track for walking and jogging with stalls in the center. There is an efficient 4-fan ventilation system in the roof that pulls air up and out in the hot weather. Radiating out from the barn are many options for private turn out that can be large or small, pasture or dry lot, most with run in sheds and fans. The stalls are 12 x 12 with several 12 x 24 foaling stalls and an observation room. Fencing is horse-safe woven Kentucky Diamond wire with top boards.

Graywood is a riding barn, located near the tri-county corner of Culpeper, Madison, & Orange! 25 beautiful acres with access to miles of riding trails and an 8-stall barn. The riding ring is 200x120 with stone dust & sand footing and equipped with nice jumps. There is also a small round pen for ground work. Graywood is a family friendly farm that is happy to accommodate riders and horse lovers of all ages and experience levels (group and privet lessons). We are able to do theraputic riding classes as well (private lessons only). We believe in creating a safe and fun environment where everyone is encouraged to be the best they can be.
Owner & Instructor is Denise Lynch. Denise has over 30 years experience teaching, training, and showing. She moved to Madison County 17 years ago and has coached many winning riders over the years.
