With access to miles of trails on our 100 acres, our apple orchard, stream, rolling hills, and surrounding areas, you can ride to your heart's content! We offer two state of the art indoor arenas, and John Lyon's round pen, 14 stalls, wash and grooming stalls and picnic areas both near the barn and stream! Experienced trainer/owners live on the premises and provide care 24/7.

We offer retirement board and will have an opening available in spring 2016.We understand that the older or chronically unsound horse has different needs and that it can be stressful finding the perfect retirement home. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe facility and offering the best quality care possible. Board is $300/ month and includes:

-Free-choice hay and grain as needed (particularly hard keepers may be charged for extra grain)
-Weekly grooming
-Regular deworming (with yearly fecal egg counts performed by our veterinarian to ensure the efficacy of our deworming program)
-Regular professional hoof trims
-Blanket and fly mask/sheet changes
-Small turnout group sizes in well-maintained fields, safe fencing, and multiple checks per day
-We always welcome visits and we will send updated photos as often as desired.

Dragonfly Farms is owned and operated by an equine veterinarian. We offer both pasture board and full board. Retired horses are fed grain twice daily, blanketed, groomed weekly and held for the vet/farrier appointments. Lay-up horses receive the individual care that is prescribed by their veterinarian.
