Bristol Equestrian Center is a horse boarding, and riding lesson facility offering both full care stall boarding and self care pasture boarding.

Stall board includes 7 days a week of stall cleaning for a 12x12.5 stall, bedding, performance quality grain twice a day, hay, as much or as little turn out as you would like, blanketing/fly sheets, and use of all facilities.
Self-care pasture board includes daily checks, hay in the winter, automatic waterers, and use of all facilities.

Our barn has three outdoor arenas, one indoor arena, a hot and cold wash stall, two very clean boarder bathrooms, 4 tack rooms, a heated/air-conditioned boarder lounge, plus quite a few acres of open land without horses that you are welcome to ride in. Our property is 64 acres in total.

We are only 17.0 miles & approximately 18 minutes from Watt Road at I-75/I-40 in West Knoxville. And, we are close to the same distance from the South-West end of Oak Ridge. Welcome to our facility where "Every Horse Is Loved!" Brandy McDonnell is our C.E.O. and has been training and caring for her Client's horses for over 25 years.

We offer a 150 x 300 Derby field with schooling jumps, plus a 70' x 200' Covered and Lighted Arena. We have a Lighted Wash Area with hot and cold water and Matted 12' x 12' Stalls with ample ventilation, Lighted Barn, Daily Turn-outs, Full Indoor Bathroom, limited use of fridge in office area to help yourself to cold water after your ride! We have an enclosed Tack Room and Tack-Box Provisions at the stalls. We offer riding Lessons in all disciplines and at all ability levels. Please see our website for more information.

A positive enticement for new Boarders is that we are a low to no drama facility with a group of GREAT boarders that all get along. We consider and treat our Boarder Clients as part of our family. Our clients have told us that they enjoy reduced stress knowing that their horses are being cared for by our facility. We live on property. There is almost always a staff member on premises.

At Blue Point Stables, LLC we instruct riding lessons 6 days a week, all year long, when we are not otherwise engaged at a Horse Show for our clients.

Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Blue Point Stables, LLC is currently, accepting new boarders as well as new students.

Our youngest students are as young as 6 years old. We have also had many Seniors that began learning to ride with us, as well as all ages in between. We instruct beginner to advanced riders. Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.

We offer equine stable boarding and pasture boarding, at market value rates, for those clients that are looking for a trusted, established stables that caters to each equine with enhanced service and love.

ATTENTION Equine Families; each year we host a number of fantastic and fun Summer Camps, just about all Summer long. We've been doing this for many years. Our Summer Camps usually fill up fast. Each camp, for the past several years, has been full with a waiting list by approximately mid March. We suggest keeping an eye out for our Early-Bird registration with discounts. This is a family owned and operated horse boarding home. We are situated on 50 acres of pasture on Watts Bar Lake. We are an older farm with lots of TLC to offer with daily turn in and out weather permitting, Clean stalls, fresh shavings, two daily feedings, fresh hay always.
