We offer lessons in dressage with a focus on the classical seat, and comprehensive training for horses of all levels. At Sunnyside Stables, we offer riding lessons to riders of all ages, disciplines both english (on the flat and over fences) and western, and skill levels. We are very beginner friendly for both children and adult riders! Come learn on your horse or ours. Here you will learn various skills on the ground and under saddle to become a well rounded, safe, and confident equestrian while having fun and achieving your goals. Come join a fun team who gets involved in shows, clinics, and more.

So if you are having trouble trailering your horse, or just want him better prepared for a trail ride, we offer our help. Our farm. Hope and Joy Farms is nestled in the rolling hills of middle Tennessee. This twenty-eight acre pastoral setting is a fully functional farm and holds opportunity for both retreat and adventure. With wooded trails and pasture riding available, it is a destination for horse and owner alike to enjoy the scenic landscape. A two acre multi-use pond with a gazebo and fire pit create a place to gather after a day of riding.

Located between Nashville and Chattanooga, Hope and Joy Farms offers a country escape. Situated just outside the small town of Woodbury, it is convenient yet removed from city life. Nearby you will find the Drive-in Movie Theater, Center Hill Lake, and Short Mountain, a favorite trail riding destination for local horse lovers with over 400 acres for exploration and fun.

Horse boarding and training

Board your horse at a caring and fun barn. Owner/Manager lives on site, and is at the barn full time. We are conveniently located right off of the interstate with easy access from Murfreesboro, Manchester, Smyrna, Nashville etc. I am 15 minutes from Murfreesboro and Manchester, and just 45 minutes from Nashville. We are a clean and safe farm, with great boarders who have made lifelong friends. Here are a few things the barn has to offer you and your horse:

Indoor and Outdoor arenas. Round Pen and obstacle course. Morton Barn with stalls that are 12x12 with dutch doors. Outdoor crossties for bathing, indoor crossties for tacking up, farrier, clipping etc. Trailer parking/storage. Turnout paddocks available for stall boarded horses. Veterinary and farrier services available. Our feed is Tucker Milling 10/10/10 and hay is orchard grass with a test result of 13% protein. John Lyons Trainer on premises.

Full Board includes feed/hay, stall cleaned daily, daily turnout weather permitting. Blanketing available (owner provides blanket) supplements provided by owner can be added to feed. $300 per month

Pasture Board includes hay and use of all facilities and is $175 per month.

Special Care Full Board includes Full Board plus daily grooming, weekly bath and lunging. $400 per month

This is a family owned and operated horse boarding home. We are situated on 50 acres of pasture on Watts Bar Lake. We are an older farm with lots of TLC to offer with daily turn in and out weather permitting, Clean stalls, fresh shavings, two daily feedings, fresh hay always. Welcome to our facility where "Every Horse Is Loved!" Brandy McDonnell is our C.E.O. and has been training and caring for her Client's horses for over 25 years.

We offer a 150 x 300 Derby field with schooling jumps, plus a 70' x 200' Covered and Lighted Arena. We have a Lighted Wash Area with hot and cold water and Matted 12' x 12' Stalls with ample ventilation, Lighted Barn, Daily Turn-outs, Full Indoor Bathroom, limited use of fridge in office area to help yourself to cold water after your ride! A positive enticement for new Boarders is that we are a low to no drama facility with a group of GREAT boarders that all get along. We consider and treat our Boarder Clients as part of our family. Our clients have told us that they enjoy reduced stress knowing that their horses are being cared for by our facility. We live on property. There is almost always a staff member on premises.

At Blue Point Stables, LLC we instruct riding lessons 6 days a week, all year long, when we are not otherwise engaged at a Horse Show for our clients.

Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Our youngest students are as young as 6 years old. We have also had many Seniors that began learning to ride with us, as well as all ages in between. We instruct beginner to advanced riders. Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.

We offer equine stable boarding and pasture boarding, at market value rates, for those clients that are looking for a trusted, established stables that caters to each equine with enhanced service and love.

ATTENTION Equine Families; each year we host a number of fantastic and fun Summer Camps, just about all Summer long. We've been doing this for many years. Our Summer Camps usually fill up fast.
