Surrey Hill Ranch is a small private family-owned stable located in the southwest quadrant of Massillon, Ohio, close to the Route 30 overpass on 17th Street SW (previously known as Carmont Avenue SW). It sits nestled amongst neighboring farms and green pastures. The rising mist from the pond can be seen in the early morning hours against a backdrop of rolling hills and trees. The silence is broken as the birds begin their morning chorus. The ducks move effortlessly gliding across the lake leaving only small ripples in their wake. This country setting is quiet and tranquil and the hooves from the horses can be heard as they are let out to pasture. Morning has arrived here at the ranch and it is going to be another beautiful day!

Our boarding stable a small 13 horse, quality run, family facility. We pride ourselves on a very friendly atmosphere. Our stable is located on in N.Canton, just south of Walsh College .We have a very nice heated wash bay, office and tack rooms. Each stall has 20" box fan mounted on each stall for comfort on summer evenings. Overhead music/radio on from 7 to 8:30 daily in stall area & arena. We are a 10 stall private boarding facility located in Jackson Township, Ohio. Our stalls are 10x12 fully matted stalls with a hay rack. We provide a heated facility along with a heated office/tack room combo and indoor wash rack.

Four large pastures are located on the property with hay feeders/shelter for daily turnout(weather permitting).

We provide Purina Strategy Healthy Edge and will feed any supplements that are provided. A quality alfalfa/Timothy mix is fed twice daily in generous quantity.

A brand new 60’x136’ indoor arena will be going in this spring(2021) along with a separate tack room for boarders and a bathroom!

You will never have to compete for arena space as we are a small private facility with 6 boarders max. We pride ourselves on caring for each horse according to owners wishes and want every boarder to feel at home in our facility.

Graystone provide the highest quality lessons, training, and care offered in the Northeast Ohio area. Services include boarding, training hunters/jumpers, public riding lessons, showing on USHJA/USEF "A" circuit and local OPHA schooling shows, and horse sales and leasing. We offer boarding,training and lessons on your horse or a school horse. Our scenic location allows for easy access to major highways. Students have the opportunity to compete in Dressage, eventing and hunter/jumpers or just relax on nearby trails. We approach the welfare of horses and riders in a holistic fashion, treating each as an individual. With an emphasis on correct biomechanics for both the human and equine, we strive to educate riders on how control and awareness of their body allows for high quality movement and clearer communication between rider and horse, as well as an increase in the quality of their daily life. Unmounted lessons for riders are offered using exercises from Pilates, Yoga, Feldenkrais and the Alexander technique. Lessons can be video taped for review with the instructor right on the property.
