Tall Pines Equine Rescue has been in operation since 2007 and has helped rescue, rehab and re-home numerous horses and dogs. We work closely with a equine nutritionist, our vet's only clients are horses and we take what we do seriously. The year 2011 will be a mile stone for us. We have already applied and have faith that our own 501(c)(3) non profit status will come through making all donations tax deductible. Our operation is on a small scale and will remain small to guarantee each animal will always have the best food, vet care, training and one on one that we can offer. Horses remain with us until his/her personality has been uncovered to make the perfect human match. Contracts, home visit's and updates from new owners all always required. We serve as a first come first serve basis, so open stalls are not always available, but we also network with other rescues in and out of Ohio to try and re-home. We offer a couple of great services the first is Full care which includes 10x12 amish built dirt stall, 63 acreas of avalible turnout the mare pasture is 23 acrea and the gelding pasture is 40 acreas. We clean the stalls and turnout every day, horses are fed twice a day with purina strategy pellets and quality Grass Hay. Horses buckets are dumped as needed and filled every day. This runs $360/Month

We offer boarding,training and lessons on your horse or a school horse. Our scenic location allows for easy access to major highways. Students have the opportunity to compete in Dressage, eventing and hunter/jumpers or just relax on nearby trails. We approach the welfare of horses and riders in a holistic fashion, treating each as an individual. With an emphasis on correct biomechanics for both the human and equine, we strive to educate riders on how control and awareness of their body allows for high quality movement and clearer communication between rider and horse, as well as an increase in the quality of their daily life. Unmounted lessons for riders are offered using exercises from Pilates, Yoga, Feldenkrais and the Alexander technique. Lessons can be video taped for review with the instructor right on the property.
