Whether you are looking to be a secure pleasure rider, Foxhunter, or show ring competitor, Dee Dee has a relaxed but highly technical style of instructing, that works for riders of all ages and skill levels. She is also a very competent and thoughtful sales agent, who has put together hundreds of successful horse/rider combinations. Throughout the past 40+ years, Dee has had success coaching children and adults in all three major rings at the local and "A" horse shows. Dee Dee has also spent time in the Equitation rings. She has qualified Jr riders for the Maclay, the Medal, PHA, and USET Finals. She has had success on the Florida circuits, and the Virginia Horse show circuits as well. Windy Acres Farm is located on North Quaker Hill Road in the heart of the historic Quaker Hill Estate area. This equestrian center is a family run boarding, training and rehabilitation facility for all types of horses and riders. Double G Ranch in Ancram NY, is offering indoor-windowed stalls of various sizes, up to 16x16. Located on the Roe Jan River, trails, 200x80 ft. Indoor Riding Arena (comfort foot flooring, enclosed and lite), too many extras to list.

Equine Boarding and Rehabilitation

We offer a variety of boarding options for trail riding, retired horses and horses recovering from injury or illness. We accommodate a maximum of four horses at one time to enable us to provide close personal attention to them. The horses enjoy 8-10 acres of pasture with 3-rail oak fencing, run-in stalls and sheds and automatic, heated waterers. There is plenty of grass in summer and we provide free choice hay in the winter. The horse barn has four stalls as well as a washing area with heating lamps.

Very reasonable boarding fee includes daily grain with medication and supplement feeding, free-feed hay in winter, fecal egg counts, deworming as needed, fly control and hoof trims.

There are extensive trails available for riding directly from the property. A round pen is available for use as well.

Retirement / Turnout / Lay-up Boarding
