Cal's Legacy Acres is a family owned and operated facility, with an emphasis on creating a quality environment for horses. As part of our core values, we believe it is important for horses to live outside in a herd environment, whether that be a small herd of two, or a larger herd of ten. All horses have shelter, heated automatic waterers, and 24/7 hay, to ensure all their needs are covered. Stalls are available for emergency use in case of injury or dangerous weather.

We are always seeking to improve, in our land management, horse care, and riding skills, to provide the best facilities and care we can. Throughout the year we offer lessons in natural horsemanship and basic riding, seeking to help create happy relationships between horses and humans. Castle Creek Farms is nestled in the hamlet of Mendon, New York, on 30 sprawling scenic acres not far from Mendon Ponds Park. The riding stable is a wonderful balance of buildings, lawns, picnic areas, riding arenas and paddocks, with outdoor and indoor wash stalls, and acres of open fields. The facility consists of two barns, a large indoor and outdoor riding arena, two indoor lounges, and an outdoor covered lounge with seating area and plenty of riding room.

Originally from Mendon, New York, Mindy Rudin has over 28 yrs experience. Mindy is one of those rare instructors who understands people as well as she understand horses. At Rock Creek we offer safety and consistency in facility for yourself and your horse. We strive for a low key atmosphere with a high level of cleanliness and arena grooming for dust free riding. What separates us from other facilities is that we have 18 separate paddocks (very large and small) which allow for individual grass turnout and an extremely safe environment for your horse. We are a small, low key, relaxing horse farm located just outside the village of Honeoye Falls.
