Cornerstone Horse Farm is a retirement boarding barn specializing in senior horse care. The 30 acre facility has a 4 stall barn that is currently under construction (June 2018), several run in shelters, and a rotational grazing pasture system. Pasture board is available now and stall board will be available once the barn is complete. Both boarding options are full service packages. For pasture board this includes a ProElite grain ration, orchardgrass hay when grazing is limited, a deworming program and regular barefoot hoof trims. Supplements, medications, flymasks and blanketing services are included if provided by owner. Stall board will include all of the pasture board services with access to a stall for feeding, inclement weather, or a 12/12 turnout schedule. Each stall has a dutch door with an individual run to encourage more movement even when confined. ProElite grain rations can be either Senior, Diet Balancer, or Starch Wise depending on the calorie needs of each horse, and hay pellets are available as an add on for horses with dental problems. The farm is a quiet relaxed atmosphere where the horses graze or lounge in the shelters at their choice. Herds are small, typically 3-6 horses, with a maximum of 6 boarders at one time to ensure individualized attention. There are no lessons, showing, training, or breeding operations to distract from the care of the horses or to disturb them in their daily routine. We offer horse boarding at Mims Farm. The horse boarding facility features two barns with 11 total stalls, two tack rooms and a wash pit with hot and cold water service. The farm also has an indoor arena, outdoor arena with jumps, round pin, two large pastures, many small turnout lots and a few miles of wooded trails for pleasure riding.

We are 25 minutes away from downtown Raleigh, NC. Barn manager and wife live onsite. Stall board includes twice a day feedings, daily turnout, and daily stall cleaning. We feed Purina Strategy Professional Formula GX and Coastal Bermuda hay in addition to pasture grazing. Discounts are provided if you provide your own grain and/or hay. Contact us for details.

Horseshoe Farms is a native American themed stable located in downtown Angier. Our stable was founded in August of 2012. We offer many recreational activies such as swimming with horses, trails, birthday parties, leases, lessons, etc. We sadly don't have any boarding spots open right now as of March 26th, 2014. Our stable has a several acre pasture with two large ponds (suitable for drinking) that leave only 5 acres. We have 6 stalls, one being a secure hay room. We also have one tack room and one feed room along with a small riding ring (we're in the process of building a larger one) a airplane hanger, and many of trails.
