ScotLyn Farm & Stables LLC Boarding facility completely transitioned to "slow hay net feeding systems" in all of our hay feeders, in April 2024. Slow net feeding generally provides hay in front of horses 24/7/365 and aids in healthy digestion, healthy stimulation, and helps prevents horses from having an empty stomach for long periods of time. It is also believed that slow net feeding aids the reduction of ulcers, colic and promotes constant chewing. Slow feed hay nets are also a great way for horse owners to help their horses maintain mental stimulation. These nets are designed to slow the eating process, extending the eating time which promotes saliva production. It is well believed that Saliva is a buffer that helps protect a horse from ulcers, colic, and other stomach issues. Slow hay feeding nets can also help reduce boredom or vices arising from too much time on their hands.

Sterling Acres is located on acres land surrounded by DNR forest near Random Lake, WI. We offer Hybrid Stall Board with continuous access to hay via slow feeders in dry lots and rotated pasture in warmer months with grain fed 2X per day in assigned stalls with the option to feed soaked grain. Stalls available for overnight in negative temps or if medical need arises. We believe that continuous turnout is best for the minds, gut, joints and hooves. Parkhaven Private Boarding Stable is an all-breed,
full care, private stable located on the Southwest-side of Madison, Wisconsin.

We have two openings for horse boarding. Large box stalls 11 x 13 to our smallest which is 10 x 11 feet. Stalls are all rubber matted and cleaned daily. Grain and hay is feed twice a day. Vitamins, soybean oil and worming are included. Our indoor arena is 60 x 150”. The indoor arena has excellent footing and the lighting is great. We have very dust problems in the arena which is great for horse and rider both. There are heated water tanks in the pasture with very safe fencing. Number of horses are limited to three a pasture. Limited trail riding is available when weather permits. We are a small family run stable. Only 12 horses are on the property. This means when you want to get some work done in the arena you don’t have to worry about a crowd. Horse transportation is available. Board is $235 to $250 a month.
