Performance Sporthorses has (2) immediate openings for new full-training clients. Costs include full board and training fees ($1,600 / month) which include a large 12x12 stall, personalized feeding program, twice-a-day stall cleaning, daily turnout, on-site management, and professional rides by Wanja Gerlach. Use of the facility's indoor arena (w/ mirrors), and outdoor arena are included as is free horse trailer parking. Only vet and farrier services not included.

Performance Sporthorses LLC, located in Middleburg, Virginia, focuses on developing young horses in Dressage, stallion performance testing, and managing an active breeding program. Performance Sporthorses oversees mare management, foal raising, along with young horse starting. Scarlett Grove Stables is situated on almost 16 acres of lush pasture. This full service boarding, training and sales barn is conveniently located on Route 7. We are 30 minutes to Upperville, 40 minutes to Morven Park Show grounds in Leesburg & Middleburg, Virginia. Also minutes from a cross country course.

Laid back atmosphere ~ Your horse will receive outstanding care.

The barn has 9-12x12 matted stalls, hot and cold wash stall, and a large tack/lounge room. The outdoor arena is 100x200 with a mix of sand and bluestone.

Stall Board starting at $350.00 (grain and bedding supplied by owner)

Daily exercise $25.00 a ride

Field Board starting at $200.00 (grain supplied by owner and there is an extra $100 fee in the winter for hay)

Holly Grubb is the head trainer of Scarlett Grove Stables. She has competed through Intermediate level with over 20 years of successful coaching, training and showing three day eventing to teach you the proper skills from the basics of riding up to advanced levels. Holly trained under Sandora Oppenheim. Holly brings out the best in her riders, ponies and horses in a fun yet challenging environment. She builds sportsmanship into her riders while they achieve success in the show ring.

We are a small but top notch boarding and riding facility.
Our barn includes; large walnut stained horse stalls, hot/cold wash stall, heated/cooled tack room with bathroom, recessed lights and fans in each stall, large isle way, observation booth at horse arena, horse arena with jump course, roundpen, lounge with full bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, two extra tack rooms, small and large paddocks.

Some of the services we offer are full board, field board, leases, lessons, and trail rides. We often attend horse shows, clinics, benefit trail rides, and fox hunts.

We are in Central Virginia just three miles off of I64 allowing for a very easy commute. We are able to haul if requested.

Deep Run Hunt Club fox hunts a few times a year from our farm, we have access to over 2000 acres of trails, we have spacious stalls for layups, and we can also offer lodging for horses and owners going long distances.
