Summer Valley Equestrian Center is located in Chesterfield, VA off of River Road, and is convenient to Rt 360, Brandermill, Woodlake, and Pocahontas State Park. This beautiful facility is ideal for those looking for the ability to train and ride their horse in all weather. Enjoy the beautiful trails on cool fall and sunny spring days and the covered arena on those hot or rainy days.

Our main priority is to make you and your horse as happy as possible while offering you both a quiet and relaxing environment. We cater to all equine lovers from competitive hunter, jumper, and dressage riders to those who just want to trail ride on the weekend or groom on older horses. Outside trainers are welcome, yet we do not require that you take lessons. We have experience caring for horses at all stages of life and do not hesitate to take on retirees or sensitive show horses.

Java Oaks Farm has one full care field board spot available in Hanover County/Doswell, 10 miles north of Ashland.

Laid back, private facility with high standards! Location is quiet and relaxing, the ideal place to enjoy low key, pressure free barn time. Care for your horse can be easily individualized. 350$ a month includes grain, unlimited access to hay, unlimited access to shelter with a graded bluestone base, and heated trough in winter and fan in summer. Blanketing, fly spraying, and small first aid included. Night checks and thorough leg, hoof, and general wellness body checks each night and day so you can relax knowing eyes are always on your horse. Thorpland Plantation is a private equine facility located in Yorktown, Virginia. At this time we are strictly a lesson and horse rehabilitation facility.

Here at Thorpland Stables we focus on beginner students and specialize in horsemanship, which is more than just riding. Horsemanship means learning skills and knowledge, and especially the attitude, feeling and responsibility for horses that makes a true horseman or horsewoman. In addition we focus on balanced seat, basic english and saddleseat equitation, but we welcome all disciplines and levels of experience.
