Private boarding barn has full and pasture board openings. We provide top care for your horse. Facility has 9 stalls, beautiful indoor and outdoor arena, grass fields to ride in. Gorgeous views.

We offer retirement board and will have an opening available in spring 2016.We understand that the older or chronically unsound horse has different needs and that it can be stressful finding the perfect retirement home. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe facility and offering the best quality care possible. Board is $300/ month and includes:

-Free-choice hay and grain as needed (particularly hard keepers may be charged for extra grain)
-Weekly grooming
-Regular deworming (with yearly fecal egg counts performed by our veterinarian to ensure the efficacy of our deworming program)
-Regular professional hoof trims
-Blanket and fly mask/sheet changes
-Small turnout group sizes in well-maintained fields, safe fencing, and multiple checks per day
-We always welcome visits and we will send updated photos as often as desired.

We have a small facility and provide excellent care. Lessons are available and we may offer a day camp in the summer and during school vacations.

We offer instruction for Jumpers, Hunters and Equitation students, and also have a fantastic program for young or problem horses. Henebry Farm is a private horse farm in Goochland, Virginia that offers quality mixed grass hay for sale. Locally grown, composed of Orchard/Timothy/Fescue*/Clover & other native grasses available in season.

2016 price $5.50/bale + VA state sales tax. We have around 200 bales left in storage. Customer pickup only, no delivery. Quantity discount 100+ bales. When quantity becomes limited, preference will be given to return customers. Please contact us now to be placed on our customer list. We will notify you by phone/text when hay will be available. Look for Henebry Farm on Facebook for availability, as well. We make every effort to meet the needs of our customers, in order received. However, since we have limited storage, pickup is by appointment or first come, first served. Hay must be picked up in season, as close to time of baling as possible.
