FPF has been developing quality horses and riders in the Richmond area since 2005. FPF is dedicated and compassionate about providing customized attention to both the horse and rider whether their goals are to compete in the hunters , equitation, jumpers or riding for pleasure.

Performance Sporthorses has (2) immediate openings for new full-training clients. Costs include full board and training fees ($1,600 / month) which include a large 12x12 stall, personalized feeding program, twice-a-day stall cleaning, daily turnout, on-site management, and professional rides by Wanja Gerlach. Use of the facility's indoor arena (w/ mirrors), and outdoor arena are included as is free horse trailer parking. Only vet and farrier services not included.

Performance Sporthorses LLC, located in Middleburg, Virginia, focuses on developing young horses in Dressage, stallion performance testing, and managing an active breeding program. Performance Sporthorses oversees mare management, foal raising, along with young horse starting. This special operation is in the heart of the equestrian rich area of Virginia with easy access to Maryland, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, make this an ideal training choice.

In addition to preparing young horses and stallions for performance testing and competition, Wanja is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist; he has trained and competed through Grand Prix in Dressage, is a USDF L Dressage judge, and coaches both Dressage and Eventing riders.... See More

Rocky Top Ranch is a private family owned property open 7 days a week. Having been in the horse business for many years and as an owner of 4 horses I understand that each horse has he/her own unique needs. We offer individual attention for every horse, and will work with you to accommodate your horse’s needs.
We offer full, partial and pasture board on 62 acres located in Central VA in beautiful Appomattox County. Easy access from ST RT 460 and only 20 minutes from Liberty University and Sweet Briar College. We provide private or small group turnout. Multiple horse discount and discount for any referrals that use our facility.
7 stall barn: Each 10’x12’ stalls consist of 2x6 tongue and groove yellow pine boards, sealed for ease of cleaning and sanitizing. Fronts are 3” on center prison boards with sliding doors, all stalls are sawdust bedded and are cleaned morning and evening. Lights and individual fans in each stall with ceiling fans in the main aisle. Hot / cold wash pit, tack room and feed room.
Pasture boarding with large run in sheds, salt blocks and ample water supply. We limit the number of horses we board to prevent overgrazing of fields. We separate mares and geldings to avoid any conflicts.
The Ranch offers over 4 miles of riding trails, round pen and outside arena. Free trailer parking for boarders. Property includes two entrances / exits. 70’ wide entrance with drive thru to exits with no need to back up or turn around. 80’ from state highway to gate for truck and trailer, no parking on roadway for safety of owner and horse.
Provide clinics, first aid and wound care
On site lounge with work out equipment, pool table, full bath, TV, picnic table and outdoor grill.
We also provide transportation for all of you hauling needs with a 38’ Cherokee trailer that can accommodate up to 5 horses with box stalls. References provided from previous horse hauls.

Anyone looking for horse boarding in the Williamsburg, New Kent, Richmond area?

We are at exit 211 in New Kent right off interstate 64. Full board each month is $600, there are 5 stalls available then you will be put on a wait list. Stalls cleaned twice daily (or as needed). We provide feed (to be discussed) and hay (to be discussed). If your horse/horses are on supplements we will make sure they get them daily/as needed. Turn in during the day/night (whichever you prefer), if you prefer one of these options. Each horse will have their own stall. We have a lighted riding ring (you can ride day/night).
