Golden Curls Ranch, an equestrian riding facility is pleased to introduce you to American Curly and Curly Mustang horses. Theses horses are known to be hypo-allergic. This allows riders with allergies to enjoy time in the saddle with little to no allergenic reaction.

We ride both Western and English disciplines and teach riding lessons in trail,Western Pleasure, Equitation, Pole Bending and Barrel Racing. We also train horses for all riding disciplines and offer packages that include training for the rider with their horse. We specialize in training horses with that need the opportunity to be their best and are comfortable with Mustangs and horses others have had little success training. We board horses and have fifteen stalls in our main barn and two stalls with a corral and round pen. We are on our ranch 24/7 and treat your horse as if they were our own.

We are a full care facility that prides itself on the care that we give to each individual horse. We take care of each like they are our own. Quiet facility that offers a large arena, round pen, quality coastal hay, we feed an assortment of Bluebonnet grains depending on your horses needs. We live on site for security. Our Horse Boarding Facility is quite large ! 32 + stalls 40+ acres we accept all equines ! Boarding is about $300 for stalls and $180 for pasture board ! We provide lessons and many more cool things like summer camps for adults and kids !

I have experience with several different breeds of horses: friesians, quarter horses, thoroughbreds, Arabians, Tennessee walkers, cross breeds. I give lessons at round about stables. I offer beginner to advanced lessons, in basic riding, being a good leader, etc. I also offer coaching for you and your barrel horse or just in general ie you and your horses relationship, working with your leadership skills, understanding your horse better, bonding exercises, etc. I offer tune ups and exercise programs on all ages and breeds of horses and I travel to you or you can board here at round about stables. I offer some basic training programs which include ground manners, behavioral problems, starting a horse in the saddle or on the ground, etc. I do western and english. I compete in barrels and will start competing in show jumping this summer. I train my own horses and take a few English lessons from another instructor at round about. I also offer feeding/grooming/care for your horses or dogs, whatever, while you are out of town or just need/want help. I will begin to be available when I come home from college on May 7. I also have some experience with wild/untamed horses. I train quietly and use a type of natural horse method, I listen and try to understand the horse best I can and am not quick to anger. I don't use force but am a firm confident leader that horses seem to appreciate. Hogany Tops has openings in our riding lesson and training programs and we would love to help you excel in your riding, whether it is for competition or pleasure, or to help you with your green horse/pony or your made up horse/pony continuing to improve! We teach and train at our facility or we can come to yours.

Hogany Tops Farm is a hunter jumper training and lesson barn located just outside of Dallas, TX, in beautiful Edgewood, TX, dedicated to establishing superior horsemanship with physically fit, willing and content, well trained horses and riders. Accordingly, a consistent training routine and at least a minimum lesson program are pertinent to accomplish this goal. Training and instruction, specializing in hunters, jumpers and equitation are designed with the horse and rider in mind and customized to fit each one’s individual abilities and objectives to reach their full potential. We focus on correct equitation in the jumpers as well as the hunters. All good riding is based on dressage as a foundation. Hours spent on the flat ultimately produce a fluid ride over fences in the hunters and an accurate and powerful ride occurring in a timely fashion in the jumpers.
All levels of riders, beginner through advanced are welcome in our lesson program and we have wonderful lesson horses for those who do not have one! Hogany Tops Farm originated in 1985 in Macon, Georgia. The business is owned and operated by Jo Beard, who was born, raised and educated in Virginia. Her love for and association with horses began at an early age, in the family barn, which at the age of eight led her to horse shows and fox hunts with her father. Her journey with horses continued to the professional level when at the age of 18 she was schooling, training, and showing horses and ponies and catch-riding at horse shows. Her professional focus centered on hunters and jumpers and as she developed her own riding skills, she became involved in the sport of steeplechase racing and took that to a highly successful professional level as one of two licensed female steeplechase jockeys in the United States. She has subsequently trained and owned hundreds of show horses and has consistently been successfully involved in both local and national horse show competition. Today, her focus is on the interest of her clients and their goals and aspirations. She has the experience (over 40 years of teaching all levels), and the skills and patience to take them where they want to go. Both Jo’s children and grandchildren are also very successful and well known in the hunter jumper world! Jo’s extensive experience in the industry has created a wide network of friends and professional associates nationwide. Referrals will be gladly given upon request.

Julie has been teaching horseback riding for over 25 years right here in Arlington, Texas to riders of every age and skill set. She has personally trained all of her horses, each of them tailored to meet the
needs of an advancing rider. Whether the student wishes to practice dressage, hunter jumper,
jumping, or just simply go for a trail ride, a well behaved and prepared horse is available. Julie's great breadth of experience with riders young and old has helped propel several of her students to decorated careers in their equestrian pursuits. Dressage being her personal passion, she has been training and competitive in the sport for over 35 years. Working with top level international trainers and having placed in third level dressage competitions, it is hard to imagine a more qualified instructor. Helping the rider become one with the horse and using your body to facilitate the movements are the core values she tries to instill in each of her students. Her services are available for lessons on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, and she also has ponies that work great for birthday parties.

All of her lessons are conducted onsite at her facility in Arlington, Texas. She has barrels, cones, jumps and lights (for night time riding during the summer) on 3 acres right in South Arlington near Stovall Park. The property is shaded, but not wooded enough to cause problems when riding. She also has a large barn with stalls and a wash rack for the horses.
