Hudson Heritage is a full care boarding and event center located in Rio Vista Texas, just 55 minutes south of Will Rogers Event Center in Fort Worth. We provide a full western horse environment with an emphasis on Reining, and Cow Horse disciplines. With a complete indoor and well lit environment available 7 days a week, it is our sincerest goal and hope to provide a place where the active riding horse owner can enjoy their best friend in comfort. We have heated water in the double indoor wash racks, individual lockers at each stall, lockers for wash rack items, as well as a conveniently located tack room with saddle and bridle racks. Come enjoy our 26 beautiful acres on a hill with amazing views of the valley. We are in the process of adding a 150 ft X 300 ft outdoor arena completion by January 1, 2021, with footing for the reining enthusiast. Services that can be provided are daily blanketing, turn out, grooming, daily lunging, foot care, individual feed programs, horse and cattle clinics. Arenas are drug daily and a cowtrac system is located inside of the indoor arena, with a conveniently located round pen for the frisky days or when your best friend just needs to move around for a bit. Rio Vista Hunter-Jumper Stable:

Stall Board with lessons: $635 month includes 2 Group lessons per week on your horse. Individual Tack locker. Every other day turnout ( Daily 7x week turnout available for additional $40). And of course, twice daily stall cleaning, twice daily feeding, and supplement feeding included (boarders to provide desired supplements). All stalls equipped with automatic fly spray system.

Paddock Board with lessons: $545 month includes 2 Group lessons per week on your horse. Individual Tack locker. Sunday turnout. Paddock horses are fed on the same program as the stalled horses.

Full Training: $850 includes all weekly rides, does not include lessons. Twice daily hay & grain, turnout every other day, twice daily stall cleaning, fly spray system.

Rio Vista Open Boarding Stable:

Rio Vista has a separate facility on the same site that we call The Breeding Farm. The breeding farm houses our sport-horse breeding program along with boarding outside broodmares, foals, mares in foal, retirees, pleasure riders and dressage riders. We are a family that has owned horses and competed in English and Western competitions since 1999. Our oldest daughter competed in cross country jumping, Hunter jumping, and Dressage. Our youngest daughter began riding English for her first 4 years and is now competing in western speed events. She has won at the San Antonio Live Stock Show in Pole Bending and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Barrels, and the top 10 at the Texas High School Rodeo Association Finals 2015 and the Texas Youth Rodeo Association Finals, Poles and Barrels.

Additionally, our youngest daughter (17) is the 4-H equine ambassador for Brazos County and she loves to teach others how to ride and just enjoy riding horses or for advanced riders how to take it to the next level.
