Board your horse at a caring and fun barn. Owner/Manager lives on site, and is at the barn full time. We are conveniently located right off of the interstate with easy access from Murfreesboro, Manchester, Smyrna, Nashville etc. I am 15 minutes from Murfreesboro and Manchester, and just 45 minutes from Nashville. We are a clean and safe farm, with great boarders who have made lifelong friends. Here are a few things the barn has to offer you and your horse:

Indoor and Outdoor arenas. Round Pen and obstacle course. Morton Barn with stalls that are 12x12 with dutch doors. Outdoor crossties for bathing, indoor crossties for tacking up, farrier, clipping etc. Trailer parking/storage. Turnout paddocks available for stall boarded horses. Veterinary and farrier services available. Our feed is Tucker Milling 10/10/10 and hay is orchard grass with a test result of 13% protein. John Lyons Trainer on premises.

Full Board includes feed/hay, stall cleaned daily, daily turnout weather permitting. Blanketing available (owner provides blanket) supplements provided by owner can be added to feed. $300 per month

Pasture Board includes hay and use of all facilities and is $175 per month.

Second Wind Farm LLC is a fully equipped horse boarding facility located on 80+ acres in Thompsons Station, TN. We are located off 840 approximately 15 minutes south of Franklin, TN, 30 south of Nashville, TN, and 30 minutes east of Murfreesboro. We have openings in our newly renovated 12 stall barn as well as our pastures.

The barn is equipped with a heated tack room with individual tack closets, wash racks, bathroom and lounge. We have two arenas. One for English events and one for cattle and speed events. We have on-site instruction for both English and Western disciplines. We are located on 80+ pristine acres which gives ample room to ride without leaving the premises.

We specialize in team roping, barrel racing, ranch sorting and trail riding. Transportation to events and shows can be arranged as well as full service trailer care and repair.

Full board includes daily turn out, grain, free access to quality hay and fresh water, daily stall cleaning, full use of facilities and assistance with farrier and vet care. Pastures are carefully managed to provide optimal grazing all season. Grain options are available for pasture boarded horses.

Riding Lessons

Our lessons are customized to your interests, ability, and past experiences. Whether you are taking lessons on one of our horse(s) or yours, We instill the understanding of the proper cues, riding positions, and communication between the horse and rider. Most of all we make lessons fun and educational for both children and adults to enjoy.

Horse Training Lessons

Do you have trouble with your horse? Loading into the trailer or can’t get the correct lead in the show ring? We can most definitely help! We are able to travel a small distance to you or you are more than welcome to come to our farm. In these lessons are personalized to you and your horse situation.

$40.00 an hour, that includes travel time (1 hour minimum)

- Half board and training at $800 per month include 5 training sessions per week, shavings, mucking stall, fresh water and turning horses in and out of paddocks for you. Hay, Grain, Ferrier, Vet services, Rotational worming and additional nutritional supplements etc. are provided at owner expense.

- Colt Starting/ Re-Starting @ $750 a month (must commit to 2-3 months minimum)

Are you looking to rehome your horse but just don’t know where to start? You not have time out of you busy schedule to meet potential buyers? Are you overwhelmed with project horses and it needs a few weeks in training/starting. Let us take care of that for you! What’s included:

- Listing the horse

- Meeting potential buyers

- Daily Exercise (Owners discretion)

- Owners preferred training (Tune up, Refreshed, Retrain, or Just started) (Owners discussion)
