At Sunnyside Stables, we offer riding lessons to riders of all ages, disciplines both english (on the flat and over fences) and western, and skill levels. We are very beginner friendly for both children and adult riders! Come learn on your horse or ours. Here you will learn various skills on the ground and under saddle to become a well rounded, safe, and confident equestrian while having fun and achieving your goals. Come join a fun team who gets involved in shows, clinics, and more.

We do currently have a few spots available for horse training. Get a horse started, tuned up, etc. Now that it is a new year, get prepped to get back into full swing! Ask us about our current special spring training rate to get your partner back into shape for the new year!

Welcome to our facility where "Every Horse Is Loved!" Brandy McDonnell is our C.E.O. and has been training and caring for her Client's horses for over 25 years.

We offer a 150 x 300 Derby field with schooling jumps, plus a 70' x 200' Covered and Lighted Arena. We have a Lighted Wash Area with hot and cold water and Matted 12' x 12' Stalls with ample ventilation, Lighted Barn, Daily Turn-outs, Full Indoor Bathroom, limited use of fridge in office area to help yourself to cold water after your ride! A positive enticement for new Boarders is that we are a low to no drama facility with a group of GREAT boarders that all get along. We consider and treat our Boarder Clients as part of our family. Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Our youngest students are as young as 6 years old. We have also had many Seniors that began learning to ride with us, as well as all ages in between. We instruct beginner to advanced riders. Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.
