Ardmore Farm is a full service boarding and training facility conveniently located on Route 20, approximately 3 miles west of Route 23 in Marengo.  We offer hunter/ jumper lessons from an ARIA certified riding instructor on your own horse or on one of our quality school horses. A western trainer is also available for lessons upon your request.At Ardmore Farm, we take pride in providing quality care for your horse. Inside board is available in 12 X 12 matted stalls and pasture board  is also offered for your horse that prefers to live outside. Hay is fed three times daily and horses are turned out and stalls are cleaned seven days a week. We offer both self service and full service care for your horse.  Our facility hosts a  72 X 140 brand new indoor riding arena and a 100 X 150 outdoor riding arena.  We also have a well maintained ¼ mile track.  There is an inside wash rack and grooming area available for you to use.The riders and horses at Ardmore Farm  benefit from a comprehensive program that is tailored to fit the needs of the horses and the goals of their riders.  They receive the individual attention and quality instruction that has been proven to lead to continuous improvement in and out of the show ring.  The professional staff at Ardmore Farm is committed to providing students with a safe and  positive environment in which to learn and have fun.  We focus on building  well rounded riders by not only teaching students to ride, but by also taking the time to educated riders on grooming, tacking, and care of the horse.  We offer lessons for children and adults no matter what your level of riding is.  Whether you have never been on a horse or you’re ready for the show ring, we have a program suited for you.... Country stable, no drama. 10 by 10 stalls with daily turnout in 20 acre pasture. Complete feed, sweet feed, and hay supplied. Horses are fed twice a day and stalls are cleaned every day. Water buckets are emptied daily. We have security cams and I live on the property and I don't have any other job except my barn. I have vet and farrier references. Indoor and outdoor arenas and the roads here are great for a long ride. The barn is never closed, and the people here are all nice and friendly. Gunners Run Stables is a well maintained pasture boarding farm with large indoor stalls if an ill or injured horse needs to be kept in for one on one observation. We are 40 acres with a variety of amenities on the property.
Gunners Run accommodates their boarders with Large pastures, Extra Large run in shelters, hay is fed 24/7 plus individual feed buckets once a day every day with a mixture of Timothy/Alfalfa cubes, Beet Pulp, Steamed Rolled Oats, and Grain along with Extra Large water troughs that are closely monitored. We are conveniently located near U.S. 20 and I-90 in Garden Prairie, IL. We are open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. We offer full care boarding, training/breaking, lessons, etc. Our on-site barn manager/trainer, Dinah, is dedicated to the horses and loves her job.
Our facilities include an indoor arena, turn out, heated lounge, 2 tack rooms, and in the spring 2015 we will have an outdoor arena, more turnouts, a wash rack with hot water, new footing for the indoor arena, and a large dirt track around our hay field.
Pricing:
-FULL CARE BOARD- $350 a month, includes- hay 3 times a day, Safe Choice grain twice a day, blanketing, bell boots, daily turn out weather permitting (group or individual), giving of supplements, etc.
-FULL CARE BOARD WITH TRAINING/BREAKING- $500 a month.
-LESSONS- $20 for a 1/2 hour. Lessons are given by Dinah but you are welcome to use your own instructor as long as they have insurance.
-RIDING/LUNGING- If you want your horse lunged or rode Dinah can take care of that for you, $20/session, includes- cool down and grooming.
We have a great group of horses and owners. We have had 5 new horses join us since we opened in October 2014. The environment at Hope Springs Eternal Farm is welcoming and inspiring.
