Our farm is conveniently located a short distance from Chapin, Columbia and Newberry SC. We have 25 years of experience caring for horses of all breeds and stages of their lives. We live on the premises. We feed grain twice a day along with hay in the winter. The horses are locked in stalls for stress free eating then turned out to pasture. There are 20 acres of trails on the property. The farrier comes every 7 weeks or you can schedule your own. We have a 60x120 lighted riding ring. We are not a show or competition barn. Our rates are $350 per month which includes grain, hay in winter and rotational deworming. There is a barn on the back of the property for self care boarding. You will supply your own grain, hay and are responsible for feeding your own horse. I will also consider renting this barn and dry lot fenced in area to the right individual. We are a hunter/jumper boarding and training facility located in Irmo, South Carolina. We are minutes from downtown Columbia, University of South Carolina and all of Columbia's suburbs.

Our facility is located in the beautiful Ascot neighborhood and features a custom built barn with 16 matted stalls, office and lounge, large tackroom and laundry area. An additional barn on the property features a second tackroom as well as 6 more stalls in a shedrow fashion.

Our facility has two riding rings. The main ring is competition size and filled with a full course of horse show quality jumps. A smaller dressage arena is located adjacent to the larger ring and is used primarily for teaching less experienced riders, flatwork and gymnastic exercises. A wonderful bridle path is built to encompass the facility and serves as the perfect place to cool the horses off or go for a relaxing ride. The neighborhood also has acres of trails throughout.

We are home to the Creekside Farm IEA team and are in our 2nd season. We finished the 2011 season taking riders to IEA Nationals in Syracuse, NY. All middle and high school riders are welcome to participate on the team and outside riders are welcome with trainer permission as long as they are in regular lessons.

We offer horse showing on the PSJ, SCHJA and A circuits with reputable and experienced trainers. Fun family atmosphere for children and adults! Our record of success with our horses and clients speaks for itself. No horse or rider is too green to benefit from our program.

The Big Red Barn offers a beautiful facility located on 80 acres with large, grassy pastures. Riding options include a 150 x 250 arena, oversized and covered round pen and 40+ acres of trails throughout the property. The barn is airy and welcoming with 9 matted stalls each with high powered fans, two hot & cold wash racks, boarder tack room, lounge, and a large bathroom that also has a washer and dryer. Each pasture has a large 20 x 20 run-in shelter. We feed Triple Crown feeds, and coastal and alfalfa mix hays. Our upper level trainer, Crystal Bohnen, has years of experience and will help meet you and your horses training goals, whether it be to get in the show ring, advance a level or just to learn more about the sport.
Our beautiful facility offers numerous pastures, in which individual or group turn-out is available. We have wonderful grass forage available year round due to excellent pasture maintenance. We also offer large stalls all with Dutch Doors, run-out/medical pastures available, coded lock tack room, two spacious wash stalls, 100x200 outdoor ring with all-weather footing and a lower barn for school horses. We have a NEW barn that was completed in May 2013! The new barn features: 12x12 stalls with windows, drop-down stall fronts fans and INSULATED ceiling for climate control inside the barn, blanket racks, stall mats and horse-friendly feeders. The tackroom locks and has a boarders' bathroom WITH SHOWER. The barn also has a hot and cold wash rack. This barn has an attached apartment where the owner/manager will be living. This barn/apartment combo features a smoke alarm system in the barn that alerts the apartment and visa-versa. Nightly checks will be preformed in the barn and our horses are supervised nearly 24/7.

We specialize in taking individualized care of each horse and meeting the specific needs and wishes of each owner. We offer access to a 230'x115' stone dust riding arena with jumps (similar to those found at Harmon Field and FENCE), twice a day feeding with Seminole grains, plenty of fescue hay (or Timothy upon request and for an additional charge), premium low-dust BAGGED pine shavings, daily turnout and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Our barn enjoys attending horse shows, hunter paces and trail rides along with having a good time on our quiet farm.

Our pastures are never over-crowded and private turnout is available for an additional charge. We have been in business for 5 years and the owner/manager has 20 years of horse experience including caring for the horses of an Olympic silver medalist and also holds a Horse Production minor from Clemson University. We have a hunt seat instructor on-site that can offer lessons and/or horse or pony training and we also offer stall-rest and rehabilitation work for injured horses.
