Maelstrom Farm offers various boarding opportunities. Our goal is to have happy, healthy horses and owners. We offer a customized feeding program using Excel Feeds. All horses have the option for daily turnout. We have a beautiful indoor arena (100' X 150') and an outdoor arena (175' X 250') that has a judge / parent's viewing box as well as a lounge where you can view the outdoor arena. Boone Ridge Stables, 33 years in business, is a safe and congenial horse farm located in the agricultural district of Zionsville. Horse board of $700/month includes daily turnout, stall cleaning, feeding 3x/day, hot bran mashes in winter and paste worming every 3 months. Feed and care is individualized to match the specific needs of each horse. The farm has white 3-board fencing, rolling pastures, double-fenced dry lots, interesting terrain with a pond, creeks and wooded areas. Construction of new twin barns with 25 stalls and full-sized indoor riding arena was completed in December, 2016. Climate controlled bathroom, laundry and kitchen were completed in 2017. Grooming courtyard, outdoor turf dressage arena and hunter field were completed in early summer 2018. Climate controlled lounge with viewing window into the indoor arena was completed in 2019. There is also easy, safe access to 15 acres of trails in the adjacent woods. Custom built tack lockers were installed in 2022. We have a group of clients that compete at the local level as well as traveling for A shows.
