They're kept in small groups to minimize potential for injury and allow for socialization and play time. All borders are expected to feed two feedings a week unless the horse is a retiree, or being boarded from out of state. This allows everyone to be comfortable with the heard and to allow you the time to be your horses favorite person at least twice a week.
