Cottonwood Equestrian Center in Lithia is offering spacious stalls (most 13' x 14' or 12' x 14) for $500 full stall board. Full board includes day or night turn out, rotational deworming every other month, custom feed program, blanketing and unblanketing in winter months and we are happy to fly spray before turn out if you leave your fly spray bottle on the blanket bar on the stall. We use slow feed hay nets to ensure everything is eaten instead of walked into the bedding. The barn is equipped with a bathroom (shower to follow) as well as a small refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Additionally, the very roomy tack room is climate-controlled, has an equine meds refrigerator and there is plenty of storage for belongings. There are multiple surveillance cameras in the barn in addition to what is already on the property. Beautiful, quiet 10-acre property has a 70-foot round pen, two riding pastures, one with a dressage area and the other with a full jump course, grass turn outs, spacious hacking path with cross-country jumps and a future plan for competitive trail course. Three covered washracks and free trailer parking. Only three and a half miles from the nearest trail system and one mile farther in the same direction for Alafia State Park trail system. Only ten miles from Brandon Equine and for an extremely low trailering fee, availability depending of course, I will trailer for you in case of an ambulatory emergency or if you would like to simply save money for a routine visit by trailering in versus them coming out for a farm call, I can accommodate you there as well. Our boarding facility has openings for full stall board for $350 a month. We are also offering reduced board for boarders who can clean stalls each week.
Our board includes feeding of Nutrena Safe Choice pellet feed and Triumph sweet feed twice a day, as well as coastal hay. If an alternative hay or feed is requested we can provide it with alteration to the board. We provide full bedding as well. Stalls are cleaned every day, your horse will never step back into a dirty stall.
With this the horses are stalled during the day and turned out into the paddocks at night, this applies in the spring and summer. The schedule is switched during the fall and winter months. Each horse is well looked after and inspected each time they are led from and to the barn, we make sure each horses needs are met.
The horses are turned out in groups according to behavior. We separate any horses that do not get along to avoid all injuries. Boarders are informed of all farrier and vet appointments.
