Coleman's Horse Training is back in action but in a new location. We are now located in Banks, OR at Rolling Hills Stables. We have several stalls available and openings for full training. Rolling Hills Stable is an upcoming facility with several recent upgrades in a very convenient location right off of HWY 26.

We have great facilities at our small and friendly Farm Stay and Stable near Junction City, OR. We offer boarding services in our mostly gaited horse barn. All breeds and disciplines welcome. We also offer a small lesson program on gaited and non-gaited horses. We have a guest barn for horse travelers for both overnight stays and for staying over for a few days of local riding from mountains to beaches.

At our boarding facility and family stable, we specialize in gaited horses with Paso Finos, but all breeds are welcome. Boarding is partial care. (We do not offer self care or full care, although we have a great stall cleaning crew available if you need stalls cleaned) We have a limited number of boarders so your horse will receive individualized care and attention. Always room in the arena for riding. Stalls are light and airy, matted, 12 x 12 in size, and have nice runs. Bedding included. We feed twice a day and turn out in larger pasture. You are responsible for providing hay, grain, supplements, setting up your feed & water, and cleaning a minimum of four times per week. This is a private farm. I raised AQHA, APHA & TB horses. I have reduced my herd to just a couple of horses and decided to board out a couple of the empty stalls. The stalls are 12X12 with rubber matting. There is one foaling stall that is 12X24. One of the stalls has a turn out area, but most of the time I lead the horses to one of two fields during the day. Both fields have sheds to protect the horses from sun & rain. At night they are in their stalls. The fencing is wood in the turn out area and plastic white fence in the fields. I prefer boarding to mares, but would consider a gelding. I have foaled out many mares in the past and stand a palomino stud. I do not have an indoor or outdoor arena only the fields and they are not flat. I feed eastern or alfalfa, orchard grass, & grain. - Daily group turnout on grass (gelding pasture) FYI: vinyl fencing no electricity
- All year turn out (rain or shine) min 8 hours per day
- Feeding owners grain + supplements twice a day
- Feeding Timothy hay twice a day ( +lunch when there is no more grass)
- We fly mask and fly spray as needed
- We blanket
- Owner on site
- 60x150 arena ( currently not functional but will receive new footing within the next 2 months and will then be fully available for use)

(Opportunity for reduced board in exchange for helping with chores)

It's a relatively small property with 5 acres and although we don’t have any dedicated trails, there is the opportunity to use the bottom field for riding, or riding the perimeter.

This is my home and not a commercial boarding facility, which means your horse gets the same love, attention, and individual care as mine but also means there's no bathroom, so you've gotta be a bit sporty.
