We welcome all breeds and riding styles at Major Lane Stables. It is an exceptional horse stable that offers many things for the horse lover! Horse training and boarding are available. We offer both FULL CARE and SELF CARE options.
There is a large 80 x 180 indoor arena so weather is not an issue. The arena is worked and watered so it has excellent footing. We also have a large 100 x 200 outdoor arena with sand footing surrounded by gorgeous views. Huge grass pastures for the horses (weather permitting) and individual paddocks as well. Easy loop for trailer turn around. Automatic waterers in all stalls. Matted wash rack to bathe your horse. Viewing area in arena for parents and visitors to watch you and your horse.

We are a small, family run, 8 stall barn which offers exceptional, personalized care for our client's horses. $200 board includes mucking out, feeding, blanketing, and turnout, but does not include hay or feed. We have an all weather dressage arena and grass jumping arena, as well as access to a trail. Stalls are 10x12 with 12x12 covered run outs. Both stalls and run outs are matted. Our full care boarding includes twice daily stall cleaning, quality, tested hay fed three times a day, grain and suppliments fed 1-2x daily, pasture turnout, consistent reinforcement of ground manners, blankets on/off.
Each of our matted stalls include a covered, matted veranda for each horse plus a run in area with well maintained sand footing. Natural fly control through Fly Predators & consistent picking of stalls/manure management, yellow jacket control with consistent monitoring & eradication of any known nests, traps, winter mud control by way of pasture rotation & consistent application of sand/footing as needed. That's right! As close to no mud, no flies, and no yellowjackets as you will see! Professional trainers on site with discounts to our boarders. We have great facilities at our small and friendly Farm Stay and Stable near Junction City, OR. We offer boarding services in our mostly gaited horse barn. All breeds and disciplines welcome. We also offer a small lesson program on gaited and non-gaited horses. We have a guest barn for horse travelers for both overnight stays and for staying over for a few days of local riding from mountains to beaches.

At our boarding facility and family stable, we specialize in gaited horses with Paso Finos, but all breeds are welcome. Boarding is partial care. (We do not offer self care or full care, although we have a great stall cleaning crew available if you need stalls cleaned) We have a limited number of boarders so your horse will receive individualized care and attention. Always room in the arena for riding. Stalls are light and airy, matted, 12 x 12 in size, and have nice runs. Bedding included. We feed twice a day and turn out in larger pasture. You are responsible for providing hay, grain, supplements, setting up your feed & water, and cleaning a minimum of four times per week. Large all weather outdoor arena available (you can ride even after it rains), along with smaller indoor arena, hay storage, and tack locker. Contact us for a tour of our facilities. We offer several human guest accommodations for Farms Stays and for travelers with horses. For horse travelers, we have parking available near our guest barn with hook up for living quarters trailers or RV's. We have water, 20 amp electrical, and WiFi and well maintained porta potty on site. We also have an RV Guest House with all the amenities and a guest cottage with a cozy wood stove and giant securely fenced yard. Both accommodations can accommodate up to four people comfortably. We are a private boarding facility on 53+ tranquil acres in Junction City. Our barn has just 14 stalls, so we have a small, inviting atmosphere without the drama of a large facility.
