Facilities consist of 100'x 200'covered arena,100 meter all weather outdoor arena,European exerciser,round pen, 50 indoor stalls in 3 stables.Numerous jumps on our wooded trails.Box stalls have automatic drinkers,pasture boarders have run in sheds with individual walk in stalls for feeding. We are a women's no competion barn. We all enjoy each other's company and like to ride alone and with each other. We have 15 rolling acres and full turnout unless it is an ice storm or an injury when we do have stalls. We have trails out from our farm and are always interested in kind, soft eyed horses and women to join us. My job is to take care of your horse as you would like them taken care of within the limits of what we do. I don't believe that horses enjoy being locked in a stall. We are looking for quiet, well behaved horses that we can offer half off board if they are lightly used in our program. Students start bareback and must earn their saddles and then cloth reins on halter, later bitless bridles and only experienced riders use bits. Helmets and boots on all afterschool and Women's Intuitive Riders. On site managers who care for your horse as you would yourself in as natural a setting as possible. We are a no drama barn of middle aged women who are happy to ride together at times and alone at times. Non competitive atmosphere where we can just enjoy our connection to our horses. Cornerstone Horse Farm is a retirement boarding barn specializing in senior horse care. The 30 acre facility has a 4 stall barn that is currently under construction (June 2018), several run in shelters, and a rotational grazing pasture system. Pasture board is available now and stall board will be available once the barn is complete. Both boarding options are full service packages. For pasture board this includes a ProElite grain ration, orchardgrass hay when grazing is limited, a deworming program and regular barefoot hoof trims. Supplements, medications, flymasks and blanketing services are included if provided by owner. Stall board will include all of the pasture board services with access to a stall for feeding, inclement weather, or a 12/12 turnout schedule. Each stall has a dutch door with an individual run to encourage more movement even when confined. ProElite grain rations can be either Senior, Diet Balancer, or Starch Wise depending on the calorie needs of each horse, and hay pellets are available as an add on for horses with dental problems. The farm is a quiet relaxed atmosphere where the horses graze or lounge in the shelters at their choice. Herds are small, typically 3-6 horses, with a maximum of 6 boarders at one time to ensure individualized attention.
